The Great American Bagel & Bakery

This is a small little place located right next to A7. They have breakfast and lunch type sandwich options. If you have a gluten allergy there aren’t any gluten free items. Since I can’t have bagels I chose to order the breakfast sandwich without the bagels. They just took the egg and ham and wrapped it up for me. Not exactly the easiest thing to eat but it was something! The staff is pretty friendly and the prices are about average. There isn’t anywhere to sit so you’ll have to get your food to go and eat it somewhere else in the terminal

I was just in line and the server dropped his knife, gave it a quick splash in the sink, then used it to prepare food. Ewwwww. I did not actually order after seeing that. Soap should have been in order.

Good bagels and fresh veggies but the eggs and bacon are the typical fast food type product you’d find at subway, etc. The Danish are all prepackaged large distributor but good nonetheless. Fresh fruit, yogurt and tasty bagels are also available for those seeking a healthier choice.
Service: For airport food they’re much friendlier than most and get special requests right without to much of a delay. Service is defiantly one of the reasons this is a usual stop.
Overall: good food for airport prices makes it A-​OK in my book, 3 Stars.

This place has fairly friendly staff and the sandwiches are actually pretty spendy but I think that the sandwiches are really good even if I wasn’t in an airport I would come here for a quick bite.

I usually come here for breakfast when I’m taking a morning flight from Norfolk. The bagels have always been very good. This time I did it as a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel.
The only drawback is that the prices are higher since it’s in the airport, but I’m sure that is the same way with all other places here.

Was about to order a panini sandwich, just before they began to make the sandwich, I changed my mind to a bagel instead. The lady told me that I could not get a panini made with a bagel and I tried to tell her that it I no longer wanted a panini but instead just wanted a plain bagel. Well instead of simply changing my order to a bagel, she ask me what I wanted in a very rude undertone, for which I ask her please give me a moment. I stepped back in case another customer wanted to order (there was no one else in line, so couldn’t see why she was rushing me or talking in a rude manner). She follow up her comment by saying, «just go away!». Which I responded by saying «I will leave!» and preceded to the establishment directly a crossed from them!
What a way to not only talk themselves out of a sale, but drive a customer to their competitor!
