I have taken stuff to these guys many times in the past. They are super friendly people in the shop. LCDs and CRTs will cost you something to dispose of ($ 10-​$ 20) but most other things they can take without a fee. If you are taking things for a business you will get a slip from them for write off purposes. I have always taken things to them but I think they also have a pick up service. These are the same guys making electronic recycling at the Medfield Transfer Station possible and probably elsewhere.
If they have time, take a tour of the shop. They have some cool old crap sometimes.
