Soooo over priced. I love buying books at thrift stores, but this place is insane! Asking $ 4 for a book? No. No. No. Every other thrift store sells their books for under a dollar. I’ll never go back there again.

I’ve been coming here for 20 years and I’m obviously loyal. That said, the sore can use improvement. The air conditioning is usually broken and being 8 months pregnant in there in the dead of summer is a deal breaker for me. The housewares selection is always great, and you can usually count on some really affordable furniture and art. I usually pick up big paintings just for the frames. Negatives aside from the heat include the staff who is really hit or miss in the friendly department and the general disorganization of the clothing.

I like chkd but only go there on there discount days. I have also been told by former workers all the proceeds don’t go to the children’s hospital. The staff is a little rude especially the little creek store. I still tip toe in and out sometimes, but rare

Great store — wish it was cleaner at times but I guess they are working with what they have. Staff is up and down for me — sometimes friendly and greet you and sometimes they ignore you like the plague. Dropped off a few things a couple days ago and they were attentive and gave our receipt promptly which was nice. Wish it was more like the Salvation Army where they divide things up into color and style because then it’s easy to go in and find what you need fast. It’s not organized in that regard so it takes forever to look around.

The store was hot, there are No dressing rooms, selection was bad, I could not find any books, and the staff should not be forced to say«Hi welcome to whatever» because the look on their faces say«Hi f**k off» :( On the upside, the prices were fair :)

The clothing is way old fashioned. They had a nonexistent infant selection, which I complained about. However I understand as the manager put it, they go as fast as they come in. Soooo. The furniture is ok, very cheap. And had a nice selection of home wares.

Definitely one of my favorites, I love coming in here on thrift store hunting days. Usually always something nice in here and you’re supporting a great cause! Definitely a must stop if you are hunting…

Although this thrift store wasn’t fantastic it gets extra brownie points for supporting a great cause. How can you not want to spend money to support Children? The thrift store is your basic thrift store without anything standing out. They have a pretty big shoe selection and actually I really loved at least 3 pairs of shoes but too bad I have skis for feet and couldn’t fit into any of them. They also had at least 5 new pairs of boots(I think some department store must of donated these). Again the accessory section is non existent and the clothing selection not so good. However, I think you can find some good household items here. **a little secret that I probably shouldn’t divulge but will anyways — you can bargain for some items here… lets say there’s a scratch or something a little off you can ask for a discount.

An above-average thrift store with a slightly better selection than most, plus all proceeds go to the Children’s Hospital. I don’t know when they restock, but I went on a Sunday and it didn’t seem like it had been picked over. Walked away with two work-appropriate shirts for $ 2.96 each that were in good condition. I was disappointed with the dresses – mostly long, floral, and dowdy or made of denim. Not a lot of shoes or jewelry. Then again it’s hard to judge stores like this that rely on donations and don’t really get to pick what they sell. It could have been much better organized, though. I couldn’t discern any order to the clothes – most thrift stores will at least organize by size or color, but CHKD doesn’t appear to. This made going through the racks all the more tedious, and I got fed up with it pretty quickly.

I always leave with something good from this thrift store. I’ve found shoes, purses, scarves, fabric, even furniture. They usually have a good selection of plus-sized clothes(which is rare at most thrift stores), and their prices aren’t bad at all.
