Food is ok but customer service sucks. The guy that took my order was so rude. I won’t be returning because I don’t want to be treated that rudely again. And their coke is way overpriced.

I’ve always been a Philly cheese steak sandwich lover! Moving from CA to VA was a huge change for me! Mostly because I had to leave all of my favorite food spots. But once I moved to VA I visited MacArthur mall for my daily shopping & I gazed upon the food court area because it’s one of my favorite spots when I come down for some shopping. Anyway I saw Charley’s in BIGBOLD red letters and it said STEAKSANDWICHES! So I was like holy shit!!! let me check this shit out right?! Another plus was that their was some random dude that worked there giving away bits of samples for FREE!!! I’m telling yah FORFREE! I grabbed two instead of one cuz I was pretty hungry and OMG I swear it melted in my mouth. I ate that shizz up! I quickly walked to the line to order my regular Philly cheese steak sandwich with everything on it! Adding some fries & strawberry drink! Nom nom nom! I bet you are drooling while reading my review cuz that’s how delicious this place is. You have to try it, cuz if not you probably aren’t open minded and happy with your food choices. Try it!!! K bye. :)

Decent price. Good customer service. Delicious subs! A must try if you are in Macathur Mall! Even if you aren’t in the mall. The subs here are always a delight to bite into and the flavored fruit lemonades are heavenly! Charley’s Grilles Sub+French Fries +Peach Lemonade = perfect combination! Always a pleasure to eat here. I’m drooling while writing this review. Mmmmm Charley’s. People might complain about the prices, but these subs at MacArthur Mall always have the freshest bread and are packed full of flavorful! Hence, you get what you pay for. I’m one of the cheapest guys me and my wife know, and I’m more than okay with giving Charley’s 4 stars. If you enjoy Zero’s subs. Charley’s is your next favorite sub! Macarther Mall is the best Charley’s in Virginia by far! That’s goes for food quality and service. The one at Greenbrier was I organized and rushy and the cooks their didn’t seem to have a good grasp of English. Lynhaven didn’t toast the bread and stuffed the sub til it was soggy. Didn’t feel the love. So stick to MacArthur mall if you want a good Charley’s experience.

Well, it has been over 4 months since I left both a phone message AND an email with the corporate headquarters. I have heard nothing but crickets. Obviously, this company could give a damn about customers. So please, take your business elsewhere!

Whew… all that after Christmas sale shopping, a girl got hungry. So I looked around and saw Charley’s had the longest lines. So I thought it has to be good, right? Hmm.hmm.Yummy subs! Had the 6″ chicken Philly sub with fries for $ 4.99& comes with onions, green pepper, cheese and toppings. The chicken was the frozen meat like you would get out of a steak-um box but it was seasoned and topped on a toasted bread. Too bad Charley’s are only in malls bc when I’m graving for it I would have to go into a mall and that means spending more money!

I have to say that I really had the worst chicken Philly ever here. I got one so I could show a friend how great a chicken Philly could be. Instead I just got a steaming heap of embarrassment. I don’t think that was cheese on top. Maybe it was Campbell’s condensed mushroom soup. At least I hope it wasn’t cheese. The chicken was dry, the onions over cooked, and the bread was soggy. It wasn’t a chicken Philly by any stretch of the imagination.

Surprisingly good. I was at the mall and needed to grab something quick to take with me, so I tried a deluxe philly cheesesteak. The price is fairly typical or maybe a little high for cheesesteaks in this area. The steak on this sandwich was really tender and the veggies fresh. The only minor complaint I have is the true lack of enthusiasm(or even courtesy) of the employees. If you don’t mind mumbly employees who shove a bag at you, try a cheesesteak here. I can ignore the bad manners for a good cheesesteak.

Pleasantly surprised here. I’ve walked past Charley’s more times than I can remember coming into MacArthur Center from the parking deck and actually just had a meal from here for the first time. Generally I don’t eat on the food court but I have to say after a little coaxing from a co-worker I really enjoyed the ’ corporate made cheesesteak’ I ended up getting. I was also surprised to see that Charley’s didn’t have an entry in Unilocal either, so I’m killing two birds with one stone by adding them. Check them out sometime.
