Love their burgers(Avalon is the BEST!) and their steaks. Great place. We eat here all the time.

Food can not belive how bad the service was. COLDFOOD. Unsure what to do during lunch time. Because they must turn and burn.

Ted’s never disappoints! We are regulars here and are always pleased with the food. I highly recommend the veggie burger for non meat eaters. It has a great mushroom flavor and is by far my favorite veggie burger around! The fries and onion rings are delish as well! My girls(5&3) love the mini burgers and Mac-n-cheese and I love that they can get carrots or broccoli as their side(or fries of course). My only minor complaint about this location is the limited number of booths. With little ones it is a challenge to sit at a table as the chairs are not super stable and the kids are much harder to contain. It seems that every time we go all the booth are already full. We will be back regularly!

Wow, Ted Turner, creator of the 24 hour network news. the owner of the largest Hurd of bison in the nation(and thousands of acres of rich fertile ranch land), has a sure winner in his namesake restaurants. Classy, clean, ranch type fine oak and wood highlights throughout, not only is the food itself pleasing but the environment of these fine establishments are as well. You can choose burgers to steaks to salads to veggie burgers and beef or bison as well. I chose the bacon bison burger, with a side of sautéed asparagus and all I can say is WOW! The burger, ordered medium rare came table side absolutely perfectly prepared flavorful, juicy, hot, accompanied by whole and shredded lettuce, sliced tomato and white onion, on a perfectly heated gluten free bun. Other meals at the table were beef burgers, grilled chicken fingers(best I’ve ever tasted), and steak. Not a single complaint including my wife who happens to be even more demanding than I am when it comes to food. Ample parking, fast seating on a Christmas Eve at noon at the Forum outdoor shopping center in Atlanta, restrooms that were spotless and ranchy(with borax soap). All in all a great experience with a nice bar area as well offering seating and menu service. The menu was varied with what I thought was the ability to please heavy or light eaters, meat eaters, non meat eaters, and all diners in between. I’ll be returning to one of these numerous locations in Atlanta soon. Thanks Ted!

Come here several times mostly with my family and i always get the Chicken glazed with cranberries. Its very good and i eat most of it. For sides, i do garlic mashed potatoes which has NO taste of garlic FYI and asparagus. The drinks are very good and the last time i got the big sky lemonade which was very strong and yummy. Our food took forever to come out the last time we were here which is not normal and as we were about to say something, food did come out. The waitress did make sure to keep drinks filled while we waited. Only problem with location of Ted’s is that it’s in the forum shops and traffic is a pain. Other items on the menu are mostly Bison and im not a fan of Bison because it’s too lean.

This is a nice high end restaurant that specializes in American style food. I have to say that my visit here was rather a mixed bag. First, the food is pretty good. As an appetizer we got the onion rings which were seasoned with salt and pepper. As an entrée I got a Ted’s steak well done with potatoes and garlic Parmesan flavored broccoli. All of the food here was excellent. Props also go to the fact that they were able to ensure my well done steak was not dry and that the front end was able to provide lemonade upon request although they were currently out of it. I was happy they made some because my friends were raving about it and I wanted to try it since I love lemonade. While the food was great, the service could have been a lot better. Our server was a bit green and obviously not used to Ted’s menu. Also, there were several delays in her getting condiments and fixing mistakes made in the kitchen. She was very sweet though, and did her best to help us get along. I would say that I like this location better than the Decatur one because the food and décor are nice. The service is lacking a bit, however it was a great experience.

Second time eating here, literally the best burgers I’ve ever had(added plus that they have fresh avocado that you can add to anything you want) everyone is always nice here great service both times. Side note: ask for something called«horsey sauce» SOOOOO good on fries/onion rings

Love Ted’s but this location does not represent well. Their chef needs to understand what grilled means. The food was not presented consistently with other Ted’s restaurants. Our waitress was not the least bit accommodating. She was very busy with her 4 other tables. As previously stated I love Ted’s and usually come away happy but I will be steering clear of this location.

My friends and I decided to spend an afternoon doing some window shopping and decided to stop here for lunch. One friend ordered the chicken strips off of the children’s menu and an extra side of fries. While she was disappointed by their appliance when they arrived, she later said that they tasted much better than they looked. Her sister ordered the sliders. These very large considering they’re called«sliders». So the plate of food was quite a decent serving. She ordered one bison burger and one beef. Having tried both, she thinks she slightly preferred the beef due to the texture and flavor. Her husband had the nachos with bison chili on top and quite enjoyed it! I ordered a bison burger that was topped with two cheeses, bacon and caramelized onions. It was pretty good! The only thing that surprised/disappointed me was the bacon. I guess I was expected two whole slices of bacon to be sitting on top of my burger. Instead, it seemed that small pieces of bacon were cooked with the onions. But the onions gave a nice sweetness to balance the strength of the bleu cheese. The fries were a little under seasoned, but had a pretty good texture. I almost never post negative reviews, but I have to say something about this location so someone will take notice. I used to live in this area and my adult daughter and I were looking forward to a night in our old neighborhood. We walked in and there were no less than 8 people on the floor and very few people dining. Four employees walked by the hostess stand and never even made eye contact with us as we stood waiting to be seated. Finally, someone arranging tables in the back seated us after a long, awkward wait, but then nobody came to take our order. This is with at least 8 employees walking about. We finally gave up and walked out without a single glance from an employee. I made eye contact with the guy who seated us and gave a palms up «what’s this about» gesture as we left, but he just continued to go about his business. This is a reflection of poor management. Too bad. CPK around corner was wonderful. I’ll review them next!

Came here on a weeknight, so it wasn’t super busy, but noted that orders took longer than expected and the kitchen looked frazzled… it looked pretty hectic back there like they didn’t have their stuff together. Which would explain why our food took so long. The food tasted OK — wasn’t bad but wasn’t as good as other locations I’ve been to(Luckie St, Decatur, Cumberland Mall).

Almost $ 90 for two drinks, a slapped-together plate of nachos for an appetizer, and the sides with our steaks being damn near raw, it’s not worth it. Especially when the server had the personality of a wet turd to top it off. I enjoyed the taste of bison, but when it comes to prices, this is just a bit out of my range for a regular dining experience. I’ll probably come back, and hope that we get someone who is a little more pleasant and actually has a bit of personality…

I’ve been here for both lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is great I love the little embellishments that make it an interesting place to eat. Especially the paper map that covers the table, eco friendly paper straws, and red and white checkered table cloth napkins. On my most recent trip I ordered the bison burger with blue cheese and fries. The burger was fantastic! It had a lot of flavor and didn’t seem dry at all. But my fries were soggy and weren’t seasoned enough. I can’t give this place 5 stars because they the fries lacked so much. Overall I would go back because there’s not many places around here where you can order bison!

I had the Bison burger with Gruyère and blue cheese and it was excellent. The fries were not quite crisp but the onion rings were great. I sat at the bar and chatted with the two people working the bar, they were very nice and fun to talk with. Customers are generally happy and it was a fun little social meal with strangers.

The bison is the star here.. . Definitely. The bison filet mignon is my favorite steak in America: as tender as beef but so much more flavor. I had meatloaf today at lunch, which also is one of the best I’ve ever had. Side dishes are spotty. I wish that I could order any of them with confidence, because they all are on my favorites list. Broccoli is probably my favorite, as humbles as that sounds. Sweet potato is tiny but tasty. Creamed spinach has been too creamy and too lemony twice now. Service at this location has been slow the last 2 times. Which surprises me, because the wait staff seems top notch. Must be something in the kitchen.

Ted’s is one of those restaurants that I would never choose to go to, but if somebody suggests it I will not protest. I am kind of indifferent about it. I went recently with a group for a work lunch. Most of us had burgers or sandwiches of some sort. Everybody seemed satisfied but I don’t think anybody wrote home about the experience. I ordered a veggie burger and fries. I think they make the veggie burgers in house. I always prefer this over a frozen patty but their veggie burgers were a bit on the mushy, undercooked side. It was also messy and I had shredded lettuce everywhere by the time it was over. I will opt out of the lettuce next time. I hear good things about their bison burgers but I do not eat meat, so I can’t vouch for this dish. Aren’t bison endangered? Guess not. The service was fast and friendly– no complaints there. We arrived around 11:30 and were seated immediately with a group of six. This location does fill up at lunch time, so I would advise going earlier if you need to be in and out.

This isn’t usually my restaurant of choice, but came here for a birthday dinner. Since it was Sunday, I had the opportunity to order the roast turkey and dressing. Not a typical order coming to a place known for their bison, but wanted to give it a shot. The turkey was tender and not dry, and all the sides it came with were ok. The wait wasn’t long for a party of 15.

I always have a great experience every time I visit this location of Ted’s. Service is always polite and friendly even when I’m getting a take out order. My favorite dish there is the Canyon Creek bison burger since I’ve always been a fan of sweet and salty. It comes with jalapeños, bacon, cheddar cheese, blackberry jam and a fried egg. It is a messy burger to eat but so worth it! The bison meat is so soft and melts in your mouth. I’ve also tried their Caesar salad with shrimp, and I wasn’t a fan because the shrimp were extremely salty. It doesn’t matter because I only come to this place for their bison burgers! Their sides are just normal. Not anything good enough to crave. I’ve had their mashed potatoes, fries, onion areas and squash casserole. All were just okay. Nothing to rave about. This is definitely the place to go if you want to try bison burgers. Trust me, bison tastes just like beef, but it is much softer and leaner.
