What? Nobody has been here before??? Visiting from out of town and tired of the architecture, strip bars and jambalya? Looking for something beside the WW2 Museum or the French Quarter. Had enough beignets and po-boys to last until at least next week? Have you figured out where the locals go to get their brake tags? Don’t you want to know? «What the hell is a brake tag?» you are asking yourself. What strange custom is this? The service station is located on a backroad in Norco(too easy, no jokes at Norco’s expense). This place is great. It apparently is a Shell station. I don’t think they sell gas and I have never seen anyone in the garage. The same guy has been sitting in the office waiting to inspect the next car for who knows how long. He has it down to a science, I don’t think I have ever had to wait to get an inspection done. I had two inspections done in the past two weeks. Total elapsed time was about 5 minutes. The inspector does a good job of taking off the old sticker. He even cleans off the old glue. I threw in an extra star because the new sticker is straight. Nothing more annoying than having to look at a crooked sticker for a year(and now two). I will be back in 2014.
