Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

Was referred here by Marchane at the Natomas store location. I needed two paint color matches for a logo/​branding related project and all I had was the Pantone color code. Dennis was able to help find the codes on their Pantone palette and get a custom manual color match order (one quart of each color) started for me. Came in the morning (around 8ish) and the order was done by 2pm, I wasn’t able to pick up until after I got off work but their store is open from 6:30am-7:00pm which was convenient. The custom paint quarts were about $ 25 each but I had a $ 10 off $ 50 coupon from the Sherwin-​Williams website. The colors were matched perfectly to what I needed. I didn’t purchase any other paint supplies here though.

Bad timing drove me to Home Depot. Their limited hours of operation made buying the samples and trying them hard to do. I was in the middle of a project, everyday coming in trying to pick a color, buying their expensive samples. Taped everything off, finally picked my color and came in to buy the expensive Emerald paint that was on sale. I missed the sale by a day and the coupon I had was not going to start for two more days and they wouldn’t work with me (I obviously started buying samples during the sale). So I went to Home Depot, they color matched me and gave me paint with similar stats for $ 20 less than the coupon price I couldn’t get. I understand your coupons are there for a reason, but if they had longer hours I could have picked my color on time and bought during the sale, and I was not going to wait two days to buy a super expensive paint. So I’m going to stick with Home Depot from now on, for ease of use, better pricing, better customer service, and faster project times.

Ask Sherwin-​Williams! I’ve been in this store three times and every time I’ve been there I’ve been helped by a different person and each time the employee has been really nice and helpful. On two occasions I asked to have my paint lightened because the color appeared much darker on my wall. The employees were really nice about it and helped me out no problem.
