Great beach for family beach day! Parking is big enough to for lots of cars. Close by stores.

Mostly rocky and there’s only one building that has both the men’s and women’s restrooms and shower facilities. There’s a very narrow road leading to a dead-end, with parking spots along the way. This beach is too rocky to play at, and I think it’s better for just walking and standing and taking in the nice views of the ocean and the rest of the Leeward Side.

As i’m writing this review, im putting on a bench at Lualualei beach park. First off let me state that this beach park is bare bones, with just one building housing the men’s and women’s bathrooms, and 2 shower. It’s also situated on a narrow piece of land with a single 2 lane road if front of the beach park and homes on the other side of the road. In fact, I would have to say that about 300 feet separates the ocean from the nearest house. The place is designated as a campground, but I didn’t see anyone camping. There are some beautiful views of the ocean as well as the mountains from this park. I bet the sunsets must be nice too. I think anyone willing to take the ride down to this side of the island should stop by and give this park a visit, if for no other reason than to see an unobstructed view of a beautiful sunset as well as seeing the waves crash against the rocks on shore. And after, stopping by Waianae Mall to get something to eat.
