Food is not bad, place looks clean but the service is not very pleasant! Mag server mukhang masungit, I smiled and said hello and I was totally ignored! The friendliest person was the cook.

What can I say… The place is dirty. They serve the food in a flimsy disposable plate and the food is mostly cold by the time you get to the table to eat. I don’t even know if they cook the food fresh because there was no date or time when it was made. The employees are unfriendly even to their fellow Filipino clients. I do not recommend this place to anybody. Stay away.

YOU’VEBEENWARNED! today would be my second day coming to this place. their food is pretty decent along with good prices. the main complaint about this place is the attitude of the service. the first time i went there, the same server i had today(butch filipino girl) gave me and my family snappy attitude with the look that she didnt want to be there, today the same girl serviced me and just as she was coming from the kitchen she raised both her hands with open palms, wiggles her head egyptian style and says«what?» which made me want to slap her face. if you do happen to go to this place i really hope you get someone other than her. as their food is worth a try

I been here couple times, and each time I been here the food was good, but I went again last Saturday and I had the worst experience. 1st they were out of lumpia and pancit. Both are my wire’s favorite… and looks like the food is been sitting for a while, will give them one more chance.

I came here for lunch today, and I will definitely be back. The atmosphere is very typical of Filipino restaurants. Small, friendly, family-run, completely informal, with all of the food served up from a buffet at the register. Their lunch combo is only $ 6.50, and a real steal at that price. I had dineguan and longanisa. The longanisa was a little fattier than I like, but the dineguan was delicious. I’m planning to come back tomorrow to try their adobo. They have a small selection of groceries as well, including some delicious-looking siopao that I’m hoping to try soon.

So I didn’t listen to my fellow Unilocal-ers, and I placed a catering order here simply because it was the closest to my office. Placed an order on Monday, for pick up Friday. Got to the restaurant on Friday to find out they did not make 1⁄3 of my catering order. I didn’t get any sort of explanation except for«the lady who makes the puto didn’t show up today.» My question as to why anyone didn’t call me earlier to let me know my order was incomplete was met with blank stares by literally all of the employees in the place. Extremely unprofessional staff, very disappointing experience. I’ve learned my lesson, and will pay better attention to Unilocal reviews!

If you are looking for authentic Filipino food. This is the place ! Service is friendly and fast. The ambience is very warm. Bringing your white or nn Filipino friends to taste Filipino food? … This is the place to go. Price is reasonable !!! The only challenge is parking !! Will definitely go back to this place !!!

My go-to Filipino food place! The owner and the people who works here are all very nice. The food are all excellent — my faves are inihaw na baboy(BBQ pork), tortang talong, pork BBQ in a stick. They also serve Filipino pastries like Ube cake. I’m so happy that it’s only 20min drive from my place.

Just like a street cafeteria in the Philippines except if you look close you can tell the is not dirt just dirty. Authentic flavours. The squid did seem like it was sitting around a wile, the chicken adobo was great just my Filipino friends would call it mild.

This place is by far THE worst place to eat. No name labels on the dishes. Horrible service. Pretty much it not welcoming even if you’re filipino. They have their clicks and its apparent when you walk-in. The food isn’t hot rather its cold. No kind of proper organization at all. Don’t even know why such a place like this exists. The buffett area was truly limited. No kind of desserts were offered. Utensils were limited. The lady didnt know what to charge my family and I.

This is one of the those places you walk in and feel completely clueless on how it works. You start to read the Unilocal reviews for any tips but you realize there are none and you’re on your own. You wing it like a pro as if you been here before without looking like an idiot to all the regulars waiting behind you who know you’re faking the confidence while avoiding eye contact with the hostess rolling her eyes at you. Here’s what you do: 1. You walk straight to the buffet line. 2. If anyone is available, they will help you. If not, you stand there waiting until they do. 3. Tell them you want the combo meal which comes with rice and 2 sides.(I asked if they had noodles instead of rice and she said no) Grab a tray! 4. You pick the 2 sides you want. There are no tags on anything, so you’re guessing here! I asked for a chicken side, there was only 1 option. I ordered the BBQ chicken on a skewer and the only other non pork or beef dish — bitter melon with shrimp. *Grab whatever else you want from the coolers: drinks or the fried bananas in the heating unit. There are also fried fish along the buffet line. 5. You pay. 6. Take a seat, walk to the water fountain if you did not order a drink and then you eat. 7. When you’re done, you walk to the corner trash can and dump your plastic plate/utensils and walk your tray to the hallway where you can find someone cleaning them. It is bizarre, in a very interesting way! The food is fine for $ 6 — you can’t complain. It is a place that the food is already made and you pick what you want — cafeteria style. The food is home cooked and tasted like so. I don’t know if it’s a place I will go back to. I prefer to read a menu, know what is available, know what I’m eating and have it made to order. Wouldn’t hurt for anyone to try, but I think one visit satisfied me.

Very disappointed. Went in(on a Thursday at 10:30am) after reading the menu and all the great reviews hoping to order the Tocilog only to arrive and find out you could not order anything from the menu only the buffet was available. The Tocilog consists of Tocino, rice and egg. We were hoping to make our own plate from the buffet but now there were no eggs left at the buffet ??? It’s 10:30 in the morning. No thank you. We will not be back.

This is probably one of the best authentic Filipino restaurants I have been to. I’m not Filipino, but my husband is and we both enjoy it. I eat just about everything, but am not too big on the REALLY exotic stuff like the blood meat. They offer a buffet on the weekends and it’s awesome. They have so many choices and so many of the staple dishes. The lumpia, caldareta, beef steak, sinigang, menudo, and turon are AMAZING here! My husband loves their kare kare. Basically everything offered in the buffet(items listed above and the lechon, adobo, longanisa, etc) are good and it’s reasonably priced. My only issue is that the food isn’t always hot. It’s on the lukewarm side. Maybe they could do something to fix that issue.

Amazing authentic Filipino restaurant. My favoite are their egg rolls and their tor tang talong(eggplant in egg) simply the best I ever had. Now here is my dad’s review… the best filippino food they had in a long time. The best part is that it’s affordable. He really enjoyed the breakfast with my mom and uncle, and they will be back.

Yes, good home cooking and TFC. I like the nilaga, caldareta, adobo and menudo. The white rice is consistent as well. Patis and Tabasco at every table — sweet. Masarap dito. For $ 5.50 you get two main dishes with two scoops of rice. The food is all very tasty, I really enjoy the bulalo and Kare Kare as well. There’s a buffet but that’s just too much food for me. Make sure to come before the big lunch time crowd on Sunday as the place is very small. They really should try to occupy twice the space because it gets way too crowded at times.

A Filipino friend recommended this place to us, so all of us decided to come here on a Sunday night. The place is pretty small and the buffet selection isn’t big. In fact, they only have about 12 entrees to choose from. We all decided to go with the combo, which includes 2 entrée and a side of rice for $ 5.50. I went with the Adobo Beef and the Beef Jerky with white rice. The Adobo Beef was pretty good, but it was cold already. The Beef Jerky was sweet and this was my favorite entrée here. The only thing about this place was that all the food was cold and not hot anymore. I am not sure if it’s because we came an hour before closing. Overall, I would definitely come back here in the future to try other things. Pretty much it is a good meal for $ 5.50.

The food is definitely different and traditional, if you peek around the corner you see grandma cookin’! What is always disappointing to me however is that the food is ALWAYS either cold, or lukewarm… I don’t think it’s very hard to change the hot water keeping the pans of food hot every hour so every one can have hot food. Besides that everything is on par. I think the food is great and would be magnificent if it was actually hot! The also have a few deserts I’m looking forward to trying. This place was recommended to me once and I would also recommend it if you’re not a picky eater! Otherwise beware!

Came here because my buddy was looking for a new ride in the area. Well, I am indebted to him as this place was absoultely money. The lunch special was 5.50 and that included the traditional Pancit Noodles or Rice, and your choice of 2 entrees. I got an Adobo style Beef and a whole fish, while he got the sweet sausages and traditional Adobo. All I can tell you was DAMN this food was great. The Pancit left a bit to be desired but the entrees were all great. They give you a choice of around 8 to choose from, so I plan on going back. The service is fast also as the food is already prepared buffet style and you just choose which you would like. Trust me, this place will not let you down. Btw, on the weekends they have it full buffet style at 10.95 I think… Enjoy Suckas’!!!

Ate lunch here. Great selection and tasty entrees. Rice is good(not every Filipino restaurant serves good rice). Reasonably priced = affordable. Ambience is fine, I think the bathroom needs a little work, but you’re not really there for the bathroom. I’ll definitely be eating here again.
