Get a chiller here and never at the other locations. Trust me, there’s a difference. This location is the best and they know what they are doing. Yum!

I’ve been here a couple times when I go shopping. Gold Mill is a small and crappy mall compared to the others, but this store has one of the best coffee I have ever tried. Starbucks is my favorite coffee store but I think that this may replace it as my favorite. I highly recommend this store and I hope y’all enjoy the delightful coffee drinks offered here. I always run to get free samples when offered because I really want to try some without paying for a lot.

Love this place! This is the single redeeming quality/factor about Golf Mill Mall. The place is a run-dowm disaster but they kept the Gloria Jeans! Hallelujah! Loads of coffee and chiller(kinda like a Frappuccino) options. I dropped in a couple days ago and got the chocolate avalanche chiller as well as the mocha one. Both were amaaaaazing! They also carry numerous little bakery/pastry items. Cakes(red velvet, chocolate, carrot etc), macaroons, brownies… and bagels too. It’s set on the side, kinda tucked out of view, right by the side of the mall anchored by Sears. I’m glad it’s away from the sad food court… it still retains cheer and brightness in its little corner of a depressing mall. Overall. it’s delicious and if by any misfortune u find urself stuck in Golf Mill Mall, drop by here and u will cheer up in no time lol.

Love love love this place! Everything I ever ordered was amazing! The staff is very friendly and I definitely consider this my most favorite Gloria Jeans location in the city. I always get the cappuccino chiller and my brother always gets the coco loco. The staff is always consistent with making the drinks absolutely delicious every time. Highly recommend!!!

I absolutely love this place. From the always super friendly staff to the consistency of their amazing drinks. This location has it all. I will go out of my way just to stop by here. That is how good it is Imo. As long as they are still there with the same owner and staff, I’ll be there as well.

I’ve been to this Gloria Jeans location a couple of times; always for one of their hot chocolates because I’m not a coffee drinker. During my last visit on Friday, April 24th, two very sweet young women were working. One took my order quickly and without error, while the other young woman immediately started making my hot chocolate. I had a little trouble explaining that i wanted a dairy substitute for my h.c. I don’t believe they offer almond milk as a substitute for dairy milk, but they did have cashew milk so I had her make my drink with that. 4⁄5 because the drink was SO incredibly hot that the first sip of my drink burned the roof of my mouth. I had to wait nearly 10 minutes before I could even get a true swig of my hot chocolate. Better too hot than cold, I suppose. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area again.

I go here for all my coffee needs. :) I work in the mall so im there quite often and as a bonus… The coffee is better than McDonalds in the food court. The manager/owner is WAY friendlier as well.

The Irish Cream, White Russian, Cappuccino and the Mudslide whole bean coffees are amazing. Gloria Jeans whole bean coffee just gets you so hungry from the get go it smells so good, especially right out of the grinder. The coffee I bought was so delicious I would definitely come back here again.

The coffee was meh to okay. I had a Madagascar vanilla latte, and my wife had a non fat vanilla latte. We were the only ones in line and still waited over five minutes to be attended to. The man behind the counter was too busy on his cell phone(candy crush?) to notice that he had customers. I think Golf Mill ought to get rid of GJ’s and put in a Starbucks or Peet’s.

Gloria Jeans is my favorite coffee. There are so many drinks to choose from and whatever I have tried on the menu always tasted really good. One of my favorites is crème brûlée during winter. In my opinion I prefer gloria jeans over starbucks any day.

Haven’t seen or been to one of these coffee shops in a long time so I decided to give it a shot after walking around the mall… saw a picture of the red velvet cookie chiller… boy did it live up to my expectations. .so delicious. .way better then any frappacino I’ve ever had. Good thing its only at a mall I rarely visit cuz this stuff is like crack.

I always get americanos from here. I was a Starbucks person, but their americanos are very inconsistent and their coffees taste so… burnt. But Gloria Jeans doesn’t have any of that and the flavor of the coffees are very strong and tasty. So happy I found a tasty coffee place. :)

despite some of their premade coffee mixes which are made with who knows what… i do like gloria jeans… besides dollar cups of coffee at dd… its the better albeit more expensive option in town *try their amaretto beans this location gets knocked a few stars because employees either need to be retrained on food safety/restaurant cleanliness or the dept needs to come in and help them out

YUM, stopped by here on our way to pickwick and shared a cold drink, i dont remember exactly what it was, a cookie chiller of somesort. delicious. one thing i did notice while walking through the mall. A LOT of people were sipping on some Gloria Jean’s! i am confidant that they’ll stay in business in golf mill as long as mall goers stop by!

I normally don’t buy flavored coffee beans but when/if I do, it’s usually GJ’s «Butter Toffee». It is exquisite tasting(understated and not overpowering which I find most flavored coffee to be) and at the holidays this is what my mom always has on tap. Over the years, I would always make sure to bring some back with me upon returning to Chicago and now I discover they actually have a brick and mortar here in the area. Nice!

possibly the only decent place in the golf mill mall… so while walking around the totally dead desert of a mall, we must have come to what would be the oasis… cool… a few patio tables and chairs to sit and some coffee to enjoy while waiting for mom to be done with her hair appointment. \__/3

As far as coffee places go, this is one of the best, and this location has great service too. I only wish there were more Gloria Jean’s around, but then again, not having more of them gives a few of us the opportunity to enjoy them and truly appreciate how tasty their coffee is. Whether it’s cold or hot coffee you desire, Gloria Jean’s can’t miss! Plus, one of the single best things about Gloria Jean’s is the many fresh coffee bean flavors, and you don’t have to buy a half or whole pound either… because they scoop them there you can get as much or as little as you want and either have them grind it or you can yourself. Starbucks is everywhere and offers a lot, but there’s something truly sweet about going to Gloria Jean’s, which in this case is one of the original tenants at Golf Mill from when it was enclosed, and getting a lovely coffee treat. I also really like the fact that Gloria Jean’s doesn’t cater to those with internet needs or having business meetings or interviews… it’s just a great place to grab a yummy cup of coffee at the mall.

What is so great about Starbuck’s I always wonder. Years ago, my friend and I spent countless hours at various ones and it wasn’t until we found Gloria Jean’s that we realized the error of our ways. #1: Starbuck’s cups leach their flavor into the coffee. You can taste the paper cup. #2: Starbuck’s coffee seems burnt in flavor. #3: Just call it small, medium or large, not this Venti Vidi Vici nonsense. Located inside Golf Mill, closest to Sears, we’ve found GJ to be the ideal hangout for 2 responsible family guys who don’t want to be out too long on a Friday night or engage in drunken behavior. The iced coffee menu seems to upstage the hot menu year-round, but they all seem really good. I usually like a plain old iced mocha rather than one of the fruit smoothie creations. On the hot side, their mocha and white mocha are both great. My friend is hooked on their hot chocolate. Besides drinks, they have cookies, cakes and muffins. Their carrot cake is awesome and often you get HUGE portions, enough to bring half of it home even! The store also carries gift sets, mugs and the usual coffee and tea accessories you’d expect. With the recent remodeling of Golf Mill, Gloria Jean’s also updated its patio furniture-style tables to newer-looking tables with umbrellas. This gives us the feel of dining outside in a newly tiled public plaza, as we sit there across from Lane Bryant and Sears. For a mall coffee place, it’s one of the best.
