Here for military Monday, free pizza slices from 7 – 10 for active duty and retired. Can’t go wrong with that, the pizza is pretty good. So that’s the two stars but seriously. Such bad service. Waitress was completely oblivious to us after getting our drinks. Just sad. Wish it was better…

How did I end up here? What am I doing in Niceville? What are Sports?! These are just a few questions I asked myself when I stumbled upon Helen Back Again. It was a request from others to meet here and we had a table on the back porch. It is such a sports bar with the jukebox, darts and even corn-​hole. They have a full bar and specials every night. Service is a hit or miss and could be slow some nights. We took shots, we had beers and we had laughs. While it is not some amazing hot spot, it is definitely a chill spot if you are in this part of town for the night.

Love this pizza! I ordered a special off of the menu. Extra thin. Extra sauce. Extra toppings. Think about it – not easy to do with extra thin crust!
I wanted to thank the kitchen staff for a phenomenal job and learned that «Jerred» took care of me.

Absolute worst service ever! Greeted at the door and told to sit wherever we wanted … Table of 6 got up do we sat at the table and waited for the staff to clear the table. The waitress came over and started clearing the table and then said oh uh someone at the bar just reserved this table… Um do u want to sit at a bar table? We had a party of 4 and the bar tables sits 2… Then she said what about a table in the front room? So we sat in the front room and waited another 5 minutes… No one waited on us and two young girls were sitting at the 6 seater table probably friends of the waitress. So we left and not going back!

Had the worst service tonight. Was told to find a table by the waitress. So we waited a few minutes for one to finally open up. Went to sit down and was told by the waitress the table was reserved. Pretty sure she was just saving the table for a friend. Was put in a back room and left since no one came. Piss poor service. It has gotten worse every time we have been. Worst part is only two people sat at the table when we left. They also had another table open up when we were leaving the others could have sat at.

Pizza is overrated. They don’t give you enough salsa or dip that they charge almost $ 6 for, and it’s an appetizer. And they up charge your bill if you ask for more. Service sucked, girls are not attractive but they think they are. Management is rude when I talked to them about the pricing. BAD costumer service all around! I won’t be going back, I would rather go to to Destin for pizza & a beer like I was. It is nicer than the other Helen Backs, I’ll give them that… It’s nice with the T.V.‘s and remodeling.

Food sucks, customer service was worse. Waited at least half an hour for my water and all I wanted was a bite to eat. My group and I sat they’re waiting to get assisted as we called for another waitress and still no help, so we decided just stand up and leave.

Fun! The pizza lunch is good and has a good cost. Standard pizza styles plus they usually have one or two specials. The Alfredo pizza was really good.

I sooooooooooo want to like this place. I know a lot of the people there. Start with the positive: pizza is still good regardless of what anyone says. Nachos are amazing get the small portion they are HUGE. Lots of TVs for the sports minded. The set up with outside area is great if the weather is good and there is plenty of room inside — it’s a well set up bar. The managers are really approachable and helpful — if you want something specific on the tv or whatever.
Now the «but». Staff — some are great and really friendly and on it — some are more interested in chatting to the young guys at the bar — I get it — but its called «work» for a reason. Chicken wings — aren’t «wings» and they aren’t great — you are a sports bar — get your head around some real wings.
Overall — friendly and a good place to hang out — just work out the «glitches» in food and help.

Stopped here for the lunch pizza buffet. The good news is that they always had pizzas available. The bad news is that many were specialty pizzas that had toppings I did not care for. The deal breaker though was being ignored by our waitress. The drink orders came out incorrect and it took about 10 minutes to get the correct drinks. Then getting refills was an issue. I guess they figure with the buffet you are on your own. The pizza was pretty good though…

We were disappointed in the lunch buffet. They had 1 or 2 pizzas out at a time. The emphasis seemed to be more on custom orders but you can do that from the table.
The pizza was good. I would consider trying again for dinner.

Wonderful lunch buffet. Pizza, salad and a soft drink. Always a fresh assortment of pizza types and great service from a very friendly staff.
If you are looking for a quick lunch this is the place to go. If you haven’t tried their pizza it is the best in town.

Chill atmosphere during the day… I’ve been coming every Sunday at noon for pizza beers and whatever sports. Usually NASCAR until football picks back up. But they’ll accommodate.
All in all, I’ll miss the helenback in Niceville

Pizza was good but so salty! I could actually see the big chunks of sea salt, not sure if this is the norm but if I go back I’ll ask for no salt. Service was fine, but what is really great is the location. Niceville so desperately needed this. TV’s are everywhere, speakers can be brought to your table for the game you are watching, and for you smokers there is an outdoor patio where you can eat, drink, smoke and watch the game!

The pizza here was great! We got the top line which was very tasty. The kiddos loved their cheese pizza. We also split the chicken salad which was $ 7.00. Now the salad had lots of fresh ingredients and homemade dressing, I would add more greens.
Our big disappoint was the da kine cheese dip, while it was tasty, we were a party of 7 and $ 5.75 for a salad dressing size cup of cheese dip! Are you kidding me? That was the biggest joke of an appetizer that any of us had seen wont do that again!
