I haven’t been down to Niagara Falls in a while but, when I used to go quite often(about once a month), I’d frequent this particular Off Fifth. It used to be awesome with a very classy housewares section and it also had great suits for men. I recall once picking up a pair of 7 For All Mankind jeans for $ 79. Anyway, we were down there about a couple of weeks ago and it was very picked over. The handbags such as Michael Kors were still very pricey. Most of the clothes looked like they were a few seasons old. Regardless, I did end up buying a pair of beautiful 7s but, with the exchange, it came to $ 140 so not the greatest deal. Again, beautiful jeans though.

I really don’t come here to actually shop, mainly because the items here are a bit over-priced to be «Off 5th.» But I do like to come here to admire the Marc Jacobs, Vince Camuto, and other high-end purses that are here. Sometimes you actually can catch a pretty good deal on some things. This store just doesn’t have enough pizzazz for me. It’s actually pretty boring besides the purse section. But since I’m a purse zombie I always find my way in here.

Not impressed overall. It’s not the employees, they are great with what they are provided by head office. It’s not the the prices… they aren’t half bad. It’s the product. Not the name brands they carry. It’s the house brand. Their house brand«Saks Fifth Avenue» is sub par… horribly. I bought a pair of gloves and they lasted 1 month. I went to exchange or return and the staff had no idea how to do that. The tags clearly proved they were Saks gloves but the«computers» couldn’t search their database to «prove» I bought them from Saks. After 15 minutes it was clear my time was wasted and the gloves were garbage. Shop there… but save your receipt like your buying a car, Rolex, or large screen TV… cause without it you’re screwed. And avoid the house brand… just goto Kohls instead. Same quality, better return policy.

Saks Off 5th in Fashion Outlets is quite well stocked and I like how tidy all their merchandise is on display. I hate when I went shopping at other Saks Off 5th in other outlet locations where it feels like a thrift store. I know this is an outlet and everything is not regular price but one won’t find a $ 1000+ pair of Jimmy Choo’s boots just lying around on the floor?! Sales here is decent as it always have additional discount on the lowest ticket prices. I guess I never even want to pay full on a discounted price?! They have washroom facilities inside the store and it is never a line.

This is a smaller Saks Off 5th location, although still quite large. I am not sure, but I feel like they send things that don’t sell at their other Saks Off 5th locations to this one. I feel this way because the other Saks Off 5th I have visited, near NYC, have been much better quality, choice and condition wise. But it does have an outside entrance, so you can park(usually easier on this side of the mall too), and pop in here and just here if you want. The checkout here can get backed-up quickly as well. They do a brisk business here and even during«off times» it can be busy here.
