I really can’t say enough good about this boutique, and especially about Sherry, the primary saleswoman there. I am a busy professional with little time to shop. I’m also lucky enough to travel to Italy and France a few times a year, and I now make it a point to stop by Sharon Samuels first because I know Sherry will make terrific suggestions from the superb collection of clothes they carry. I always feel on-trend both here in the U.S. and when I travel to Europe, which is saying something. By far, Sharon Samuels carries the most sophisticated styles around. The price point is reasonable and I so appreciate Sherry’s help, as she has a fantastic eye and encourages me to try new styles. A really wonderful shop.

Hands down the worst shopping experience of my life. The owner is manic, speaking in a loud voice, walking all around, won’t leave you alone. Incredible pressure to buy something– tells you everything looks wonderful on you. So sad as the Highlands is a great part of Newton and the clothes look inviting in the window. But resist the urge to enter this store!

After my negative review from last year, I am still stuck with my store credit. So before throwing money away, I decided to be brave and give it another try; there is this myth that people may change… Well, the sales personal at this store definitely didn’t. The owner, Sharon Samuels, is a real treat. Rude, obnoxious and somehow manages to invade your privacy while you just try to look around. The clothes is mediocre, mostly made in China with a hefty price tag. The collection didn’t change much from last year, in fact I found the dress I returned last year on the sale rack. Unfortunately, this time there wasn’t anything I would want to buy, so I have to be back; after all the store credit is still burning this whole in my pocket.

I was in this store over Thanksgiving and fell in love with a blue Annabel Ingall tote. My husband called the store a week later and asked to buy it. They mailed him a cheap knock off — a different designer and very poor quality. He called and asked to return the bag and Sharon Samuels yelled at him and hung up the phone on him. We’re taking it up with our credit card company — hopefully they can protect us from this fraud!

At least, you didn’t have the some one tell you not to come back! All I did was picked up a couple items and put them down. Then she tried pushing for the sale. Told her they were pricey. I believe she was the owner. I wonder how she is still in business?! I’ve never gave a negative review before, but in this case I have to. Way overpriced, better off going to TJ Maxx or Marshall’s, 5 minutes away and save yourself more than 50% of what she’s charging.

The clothes are VERY nice… so if you don’t mind handing your money over to people who are extremely rude, you should definitely shop there. Living nearby, I’ve been in the store a half-dozen times, made purchases twice. The window displays are always so beautiful, it’s hard to resist walking through the door. But the attitude from the staff(owner? I don’t know which) is appalling — even hostile. There is one woman, in particular, who is so incredibly rude, it’s almost comical. The last straw was this week, when I stopped in with a friend from out of town who fell for an item and asked the clerk if she could write down information so she could order it by phone when she got home. By the reaction of the clerk you would have thought we were begging for the item for free. She LITERALLYLOOKEDDOWNHERNOSE — wouldn’t even raise a hand to touch the item, didn’t smile at all, and dismissively said, «I’ll remember what it is.» What? What kind of service is that, where you are made to feel like a schmuck for wanting to buy something. If this were the first time, then I wouldn’t write this review. But as I said, I’ve been in the store several times; even when making a purchase, the people are rude, rude, rude. As if they are doing you a favor by taking your money. I hate to write this review, because the store is such a pretty addition to the scenery of the village. But people should be warned about what they are getting into if they want access to the goods there. It’s too bad, because the merchandise is nice.

They have awesome clothes but Sharon, the owner, is obnoxious. Cathy is the MOSTLOUD, RUDE, and OBNOXIOUS person. Has ZERO people skills. They are ALLLOUD, Obnoxious, and SNOBBY. It is too bad. I only go in when they are not there. Sherri is sweet and classy.

Have been to this store many times. The clothing has gone downhill, hard to find clothing not made in China. The attitude has become very obnoxious! Was even told to hire a private trainor since I did not like the way the jeans fit and hated my body. Barbara told me to do more abs so I could get rid of what I hated the most of my body. Then the other saleswoman told her she did a good job since she was so honest. If I was not feeling so bullied I would have left the store without purchasing. Never expected to be spoken to with such abrasiveness which was so loud that the other patrons and obviously salespeople could hear the conversation. Too bad there is no video camera in the store so the salewomen can see how they treat customers.
