Pretty significant pain relief after one visit! Joyce is very nice, accommodating and doesn’t rush. I’ll be back for a follow up very soon!

After trying several other acupuncturists, Joyce was able to dramatically relieve my chemotherapy side effects. You feel immediately that she cares deeply, is present, intuitive, and dedicated. An unusually talented healing practitioner — I’m very grateful to have found her.

Joyce is personable, compassionate and eager to help me with my chronic pain. She is willing to listen and work with me. I feel much better every time after treatment and believe I am on my way to be pain free. Joyce is very generous with her needles and happy to try different methods to treat me with no additional cost. It takes a special person to do what Joyce does everyday. Joyce has shown she is in this to help the community at an affordable price. I highly recommend her to anyone who is not feeling well.

simply the best healer around. she is very skilled, gentle, and believes first is to care for the person. I had a chronic neck pain that should have stayed with me for life told to me by a doctor, massage therapist, and a nurse. Joy got rid of the pain after only one treatment and I live pain free because of her exceptional Skill.

Many years ago, my experience with Joyce Nemser made me a true believer in the healing power of acupuncture. I had recently had dental work done, and for days I was experiencing pain from a temporary crown on the left side of my mouth. This pain was compounded by the fact that the crown was too large, so I was repeatedly biting my tongue every few seconds, resulting in terrible pain and swelling. I explained my symptoms to Joyce, and she asked me to show her my arm. She felt along my arm to find a spot that was sore, and she placed an acupuncture magnet on that spot. At first I was surprised that she looked at my arm to treat my mouth, but Joyce explained the relationship to me in a way that was clear and easy to understand. Much to my relief, shortly after the magnet was applied, the pain in my jaw and tooth quickly started to subside, and I completely ceased biting my tongue. All the suffering associated with my dental work improved, and I was able to enjoy a weekend on the Cape with my friends, free from the agony of tooth, jaw, and tongue pain. After that, I was completely convinced that acupuncture is a safe and non-invasive way to manage pain. Joyce’s excellent assessment and treatment skills make her an ideal community acupuncture practitioner.
