It took me a while to realize why no one is ever here until I met the manager. I simply asked for extra sauce which I though was reasonable for a $ 14 burger. He tells me, «no». Right off the back. And then I said I’d pay as if that was my issue of not having money. Then he makes a bogus charge that isn’t even on the menu or machine. I’ve been a loyal customer for 7 years but if THATS who they hire as a manager, then good luck to that sinking ship. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worse enemy. Their food isn’t even CLOSE to good enough to have horrible customer service like that.

Went again last night and wanted to update my review. My mother felt my original review was way harsh. She actually really likes B.Good. She thinks they use high-quality buns and toppings. She doesn’t like the greasier burgers from Five Guys or Shake Shack. I guess we have completely opposite tastes when it comes to burgers. Last night I tried something new. For starters, I downloaded the iPhone App and placed my order ahead of time. For downloading the app, I received a coupon for a free Kale & Grain Bowl. I went with the Local Apple & Bacon Bowl with chicken. To me, this is what B. Good should be all about: fresh and healthy. It was filling, yet very light feeling. I’ll probably stick to the bowls for myself, and pick up a burger for mom in the future. I would highly recommend using the app to order ahead to avoid waiting. My meal was ready in exactly 15 minutes.

I have liked this place a lot up until today. I got pretty sick eating my usual– the cousin Oliver hamburger, fries and a vanilla shake. I always feel that the quality is good, but now I will never return because I have no idea if the meat was old, or what exactly happened. I don’t eat the typical fast food, so losing this place, when I love hamburgers, is a loss for me :(

Ugh, I was so excited to give B. good a shot. I’ve heard so many rave reviews. Sadly, I find the hype to be unjustified. The food is just OK. It must be «healthy» because the portions are teeny tiny. I could eat two burgers by myself in one sitting, no problem. I admit, I don’t feel bad eating whatever I order, so I give them props for that. But still, their prices are high for what you get. It’s refreshing to see«healthy» fast food restaurants but they are still so expensive! The line goes fast but this place is absolutely packed during the lunch rush. It’s definitely hip and happening though — I personally love the atmosphere.

My wife and I have been going to B. Good for the last 6 months, and this is such a great and healthy alternative to fast food. We usually get one of the kale bowls(local, apple & bacon my favorite), but also the southwestern chicken salad is also very good, as are the smoothies. A good place for both vegetarians and someone wanting an interesting burger.

My first and last experience with this place. I ordered the El Guapo burger, expecting it to have a little«kick» with it’s offering of jalapeño slaw. Completely lack luster with a gross bun and a burger with absolutely zero flavor. The sweet potato fries were ok but cut so small that every dip into the awful ketchup they offer that your fingers get most of the condiment. The«soda» selection all tasted like seltzer water that someone forgot to put any flavoring. Seems like a goofy idea of locally grown and sourced ingredients for pseudo trendy people to say they eat at just for the sake of saying they eat there. I’ll be going back to Five Guys when I want a good burger and fries instead.

I really, really, really want to like this place. But I can’t. First off, I will start by saying, the food here is delicious. Though to be fair, I’ve never received exactly what I’ve ordered from here. Backstory! For the past 8 months, I’ve been in Burlington during the week for work with my team. When we first got here, we knew we had to scout out some solid lunch options. B. Good offered burgers, salads, grain bowls galore, so it seemed like an easy choice. Something for everyone! Our first few visits, we decided to dine in. Then we realized it takes about 20 minutes from the moment you order your food for it to be ready to hit your mouth. Okay, slow service at lunch is to be expected, sure. Fair enough. So then we graduated to online ordering! Wow! This is so simple! We can share a link and get all our meals on the same order ticket. Super convenient! Unfortunately, we have NEVER received an online order that was completely correct. And when I say«NEVER,» this isn’t some kind of gross exaggeration. We decided to keep track when we noticed it was an issue. Of the last 5 times we have ordered from B. Good, there has been a mistake 5 times. Look, I get it. It’s lunch time, and this place is always packed. But when you forget to put avocado in a bowl called a «Spicy Avocado & Lime Bowl,» you must be trippin’. What’s even worse is when additional ingredients are forgotten. If we’re going to pay extra for some grilled chicken or a local egg, then guess what? There better be some delicious chicken and egg in our bowls. Even when I’ve ordered online for after dinner time for a nice post-workout meal, they’ve forgotten ingredients. So, like I said, I really, really, really want to like this place. But with all the issues we’ve had, we’ve definitely turned to other places for lunch. If you’re already in the parking lot, go to Clover, it’s delicious. Or maybe even Chipotle where you can watch them put the right ingredients into your food. Or skip over the chaotic/post-apocalyptic parking situation and go somewhere else, I’m sure you can find tons of options.

This place is a refreshing option in the world of fast food. Most of their food is locally sourced. Their menu is unique, offering healthy, different options while still offering burgers and sandwiches. The feta watermelon salad is amazing and has beans, spinach, corn and quinoa. The three green smoothing tastes healthy and at the same tastes good! Check this place out!

Love the Back Bay location and this chain as a whole but man does this location struggle. The assembly line is a mess and when orders get mixed up they’ll just scrape off the wrong ingredients and throw new ones on. Bummer cuz it’s close to work

Great lunch spot, I come here all the time. It can get a little busy but worth it. I have to say the staff at this location is awesome. They’re fast and always so sweet to everyone. The manager, Richard noticed I come in several times a week and went out of his way to say thank you for being a loyal customer. Love this crew. The Local Apple Bacon Bowl is the best.

I should preface this review by saying I had one of the worst colds of all time when I stopped in yesterday. Runny nose, head/chest congestion, and watery eyes complete with inexplicable back pain. Could’ve affected my perception of the food, but hopefully not. I ordered a burger a la Cousin Oliver(LTO + pickles) on a wheat bun with a side of crisp veggies(veggies were free since B Good takes great care of their e-fam!) The burger was pretty huge(in height, at least)! I truly struggled to get a bite with everything in it since the pickles are piled high. The onions were thin and stringy, so that added to the challenge of eating it gracefully. Overall, the burger was juicy(noticeable runoff in the wrapper) and tender. They didn’t ask me how I wanted it cooked, but it seemed to be medium-well. I could do without the stringy onions, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, pickles and all(and I’m not usually a pickles person)! I’ll definitely be ordering again.(Also, my back pain disappeared just as suddenly as it appeared after I finished. Not saying these burgers are miraculous, but…) The veggies weren’t BAD, but they just tasted so bland. I like to try to eat healthily, but I don’t like my food to taste like it’s healthy, you know? I would have appreciated some seasoning on these veggies to take them up a notch. It is a good amount of veggies(which it should be, for $ 4.59!) Mostly big pieces of cauliflower and broccoli with a bit of carrots, zucchini, and kale. Won’t be getting them again unless they’re free. Service was fairly quick and easy(burgers definitely take longer to prep than salads). 4⁄5 for the pain-relieving burger!

We ate here last night and the food was horrible! The bun and turkey burger were honestly so dry I could hardly swallow! This was the second time I gave this chain a try. We will not be back:-(A waste of money and calories.

Ordered a big lunch for a team meeting. Happy to say the order came in without any issues! Always a win. I will say it hasn’t gone so smoothly in the past. The Avocado and Lime Quinoa bowl with chicken was REALLY good. I’m stuffed. The marinated vegetables were great and crunchy, mixed well with the avocado and quinoa. This is my new favorite order and I will absolutely order it again. I also had the Peach and Cherry seasonal smoothie(without banana) and I was not happy with it. The flavor was good(mine was a little sour without the banana, but I assume yours will be sweeter without it) but it’s filled with really hard bits that I’m going to assume was big of peach pit. I didn’t finish it. This location is extremely busy at lunch so give yourself enough time to wait in line. It can be very slow!

Kale bowl was yummy but the staff seems pretty green. No to go menus? No price on board for drinks other than smoothies. I’d try it again though. Healthy ingredients made to order.

Excellent healthy food! Many of the reviews are accurate: new place so lots of kinks; large staff so sometimes people are still being trained and learning; but hey, the food is healthy and tasty and not clogging my arteries. That deserves five stars just for that! Give it a shot. Try salmon salad bowl.

I really like the concept of this place. You can choose from«power bowls» to salads to burgers(your choice of turkey, beef, veggie, or chicken) and there are multiple juice and smoothie options. It’s still fast food, though, when all is said and done. The staff was not very friendly, and we had to stand around a dirty table awkwardly until a staff member reluctantly came over to clean it. :/meh. My West Side veggie burger was good, but a bit overpowered by salsa. I also ordered a strawberry banana smoothie, which was refreshing. My husband ordered a regular beef hamburger done local style and he loved it. You pay extra for sides(French fries, sweet potato fries, or crisp veggies) but we just ordered burgers and smoothies. If the service had been better and maybe a little friendlier, I would have given 4 stars.

So bad! Wanted to like this place sooo much. The first time I had the Kale Bowl with Bacon and Apples; it was good. The second time; the bacon was cold and everything went downhill from there. Just left there and one of the most tasteless, listless beef burgers my husband and I ever had. Plus really soggy fries! We’ll not be back. Two Burger Joints within two blocks of each other and neither one can cook a decent burger.

Waited 20 minutes for a single chocolate shake. It’s got a cool upscale local food vibe, but make me a shake faster than 20 minutes please!

Let me start off by saying I really like B. Good and want them to be awesome. I was sad they closed in Brookline, hope they reconsider and come back. Fresh healthy fast food choices. YES! When a new place opens up there are usually kinks to work out. I’ve been here twice. I love their veggie sides. Seasonal fresh veggies, awesome. Once in Dedham they had perfectly grilled and seasoned asparagus, so tasty I went back in and got second order. A lovely sunny mid day snack enjoyed at one of their outdoor tables. The first order of veggies in Newton were good, although the kale was minced so tiny it was difficult to eat. The second visit there were canned straw mushrooms and cold tasteless grape tomatoes thrown in with delicious perfectly sauteed fresh veggies. Why? Please stop right now. Do not ruin a really good thing! Both visits I ordered the Chicken Joanie. First time they put the ww bun on the griddle top side down, g r e a s y. The second try they got it right. I found it tasty and would order it again. Maybe I’ll brave their veggie burger next. Try the sweet potato fries, I like ‘em with bbq sauce. The place is big, spacious and comfortable, with the feeling of a real restaurant(not fast food). The staff was friendly and ready to please. Nice touch with the herb garden running through the middle. The guitarist, what a surprise live music and he was GOOD! You’ve got a large staff in Newton, consistency can be difficult. Please make sure everyone cares about the quality of every order, the little things matter. I’m definitely going to come back and hope to add a star.
