I went in with my man one day with a list of rooms and color ideas — a deep red, a rich orange, a bright blue, light pink, sunny yellow. We walked out with a palette of swatches that looked amazing together and were guaranteed to look fabulous. She’s seen a lot of paint come and go in 30 years; she knows what works and what doesn’t.
We came back to buy our paint during one of their sales — they have 3 – 4 in a year. All the paints were 40% off, the primers 30%, and we even got discounts on rollers and such. For the same price as Wal-​Mart paint, we got top of the line SW. We’ve now painted six rooms and are thrilled with the results. Did it ourselves and didn’t use any fancy technique. Just got it on there. In one coat with touch ups. Truly.
