I’m only 25 but I have a blast here and so do my friends! They play all of the 90s songs we grew up on and still love(Nsync, Britney Spears, juvenile –cash money takin over for the 99!)…even my parents love to come out with me to Flashbacks! They play the best hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s &90s with a few new jams(think Bruno Mars). Their specialty drinks are always on point, they even have Bacardi ‘buckets’ made with different flavor a of Bacardi big enough for 2 to split! Plus, the bartenders are all super good looking! If your looking for a chill place to dance all night or sip on some good drinks check them out. The dance floor is so cool, it’s elevated like a stage with checkered tiles! There is a $ 5 cover, but they sometimes cut deals for larger parties.

5 dollar cover chagre … 5 Dollar rip me off charge. … Don’t waste your time or your money. This place is so bad… SUCKS !!! It is slow, bad management, poor service… The owner is clueless. Trust me go to another dance club. This place is a total RIPOFF!!! I am so sorry that I wanted to go to this GOD Awful PLACE… It was a BIG Disappointed! ! ##x=+!!/^!!!#xx F ! Closed early due to being so slow. We had to go to another place. The owner is lacking in business skills on how to promote Friday night so he just said to us sorry we are closing early tonight I don’t want to pay for my DJ or staff on a slow night. PS. Dirty restrooms. WTF !!

As far as dance clubs go, I’m probably considered an old woman by now, so my review may not be totally spot on for what you’re looking for. First things first, this club could totally have everything if they just tried a little harder. They have the venue, by being in the Levee. I bet most people don’t even know it’s here though, I sure didn’t. We stumbled in after dinner and the comedy club, so it was already pretty late by the time we arrived. There was no cover, and only about 10 people at most inside, so thankfully we didn’t get asked to pay. The spot itself is compact, but I think they made great use of the space. I know the old night club in the Levee had issues with the movie theater which ultimately led to their closure. But, I think Flashbacks did it right with the layout. It has 2 floors and also a raised dance floor. The second floor is like a giant multi loft layout with tables that face the dance floor. The dance floor itself is small, but very neat in my opinion. The D.J. is set up there, and there are huge screens showing the music videos to the songs being played. I loved that part! It definitely brought out the nostalgia factor as they played some songs that didn’t make me feel like an old maid. LOL They did play all the genres as their claim suggests. I heard several Queen songs, Usher, Bobby Brown, and even today’s stuff with some Little John. I found out that this Psuedo old lady’s still got her dance moves! We had a great time, despite the small crowd. I really liked the place, and if they were to promote themselves some more I think they could make it. But, with what I saw, and the place closing at 1:00 a. m, I’m not sure of their future. So, if you’re looking for a place where you can actually dance, and have some elbow room while doing so, I’d say to give them a shot. I’d go back if I were up there after a comedy show again. Oh and a sidenote, early in the evening on Friday nights they have karaōke. Since we went to the comedy club, we didn’t make it to that, but I would love to check it out sometime.

Boring. I mean they said it was a 70s 80s and 00s place but yet they didn’t play any 00s music. I will say this place can work if they kept up with the current trends. Play 70s 80s 90s and today’s music and I will come back and do not false advertise.
