Great selection of vinyl and other related paraphernalia, t-shirts, posters, and knick-knacks. When one walks inside there is an overwhelming amount of «stuff» to browse. I love stores like this even though my record player is currently collecting dust. They of course have CDs which are available for a wide variety of genres. The guy working there, I assume is the owner, priced a knick knack I remembered having at home and he offered to buy it if I was interested. Cool. So, if you’re looking for a unique gift for a music lover in your life, check out C&D Record Bar. Oh, and even though it has the word«Bar» in its’ name, there is no alcohol served here. :(

This place is incredible. If you are looking for older records from some of the greats, this is the place to be. Their used records are in great shape and they offer a variety. They all sell receivers, turn tables, and speakers. The staff is knowledgable and helpful.

I visit northern Kentucky several times a year to see my extended family and always try to make it a point to stop by this shop and see what they have. I have been able to find great vinyl in great condition for great prices. If you’re buying several records then often the shop owner will give you discounts on the spot. Don’t miss this place.

C & D Record Bar, another Monmouth Street gem. After reading about C & D on Unilocal,I must admit I initially kind of blew it off, thinking it was much less than it actually was. Man, was I wrong. While specializing in old 45s, C & D actually carries a lot of LPs as well. In addition, C & D also has a small selection of used CDs and music related posters for sale as well. What makes C & D truly special however, are the amazing pieces you can find here. Like all record stores, the majority of C & D’s stock comes from used records sold to the store by individuals. Although this store is small in comparison to Shake It or Everybody’s, they still seem to get quite an eclectic mix of records in, meaning that every visit holds the potential for a great find. On top of this, most of the records are priced extremely low for how good of quality they are in. Lastly, the owner of this store is extremely friendly, possibly the more personable of all the record store owner’s in Cincinnati, and is always welcoming of a little small talk to pass the time.

If you like 45s, this is the record store to go to in the Cincinnati area. The owner is very friendly and very knowledgeable. There are a lot of great deals to be had. Though the LP selection is limited, I’ve walked out of there with more than a few gems.

I don’t own a record player so I cannot say anything to the record selection I go in to dig through the small selection of used CDs. Usually I find something. which is weird because there isn’t a whole lot. Every time I go in I wish I had a record player because I can tell that he has a great selection of records. The main reason I am writing a review is that the guy who owns the C&D Record Bar is sooo nice and I think he listens to everything that he sells he is very knowledgeable and is familiar with a lot of the stuff I buy.

A really solid record store that focuses on 45s. It’s owned by the same guy who ran Circle Records on the west side. You can basically go in and find any 45 you are looking for from older soul stuff to later 80s rock. Also has a slim selection of LPs and CDs. Prices are always reasonable($ 1 to $ 6). I’ve always had good experiences here.
