I took my mother here to receive acupuncture for stress relax and immune boost during her chemo treatment for cancer. The session started off just fine with an attentive Doctor but as the appointment went I completely changed my opinion! We were put in a room and and started with a meditation and acupuncture routine for what was supposed to be 30 minutes– a crying child was in the room next to ours for over 45 minutes. As a mother I am compassionate to children and their needs however this was absurd! Whining and carrying on with no regard to the others getting treatment. Not to mention my mom was left in the room for nearly an hour, not 30 minutes and not one person was in to check on her! The doctor returned after an hour and was not only defensive of the crying child and the time she was left in the room but handed a list of healing foods… Dated from 2008. Not mentioning the fit the only reason the doctor came in was after my dad in the waiting room got him. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful to clients time, health and money. I’m such a fragile state of a cancer patient my mom left upset and irritated– one hour on a table with needles and a crying baby. Credibility? Hell no– beyond ridiculous.

I am the husband of Stacy K who’s been a patient of Jason Moskovitz for a year and a half. Stacy was going to write this testimonial but I wanted to because I was the original disbeliever. Prior to Stacy starting with Tao Of Wellness she went to numerous gastro interologists and spent many weeks in hospitals, over the years, to try to control her ulcerative colitus condition. Many medicines and treatments were prescribed and none of them worked. The side affects were terrible. Our lives were taken over by Stacy’s «condition». We couldn’t travel far or near as we didn’t know when her next flair up was going to start. Her diet was so restrictive that it was no fun to go to restaurants. Her pain was so severe that it affected every part of her life. Prior to her seeing Jason, accupunture, to me, was something I didn’t believe in. Chinese herbs were a mystery to me and I didn’t have much faith in them, either. I can’t tell you how thriled I am to have been 100% wrong. In this case, ignorance was certainly not bliss. We now have our lives back and it’s wonderful. The accupuncture and herbs are accomplishing what the best medical doctors couldn’t. I now am the biggest proponent of accupuncture and Chinese herbs. Without hesitation, I reccommend Tao Of Wellness. Thank you Jason and staff for giving me my life and my wife back.

Dr. Mao (a 38^th generation healer) was highly recommended to me by a friend. I have now seen Dr. Mao and Dr Jason, both are wonderful and represent all that health care should be. Both have a healing presence and take time to ask questions and listen to the answers, hence they are able to address the cause of our issues and not just treat the symptoms.
I recommend them highly and have spoken to other health care professionals who know them, or of them, that have said the same thing.
The office itself is calm and healing in nature, you feel good just walking in, the staff are all wonderful and the other clients I have met in the office so far have raved to me about their experiences and new found well-​being.
I only want to receive health care from individuals that embody health and well-​being themselves, Dr. Mao, Dr. Jason and the staff are the picture of health and vitality, they evidently walk their talk making them people that I want to learn from and be advised by.
My experience has made the hour and a half drive from San Diego to Newport Beach completely worthwhile.
