Bill Tobias is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever met. My interaction with him today left me steaming. I took my girlfriends coach bag to the dry cleaner I go to who contracts through Bill Tobias company Premier Suede & Leather cleaners. They told me it would be a week before it was done and that was on June 23^rd I went down there for the fourth time to check on it and see if it came in and I happen to run into Bill who told me it’s not ready and that it would be another 2 weeks. This was unacceptable to me and I told him that he than turned and tried to blame the owner of the dry cleaner that it was their fault. I told him that it’s not their fault and he as a business owner needed to except responsibility for it and just get me my girlfriends bag. He then proceeded to tell me how I don’t know what I’m talking about and that I would get it when it’s ready. I can’t believe a guy with this kind of attitude stays in business as a customer I don’t care what’s going on in his life or reasons why the bag isn’t ready when it was promised that it would be, and don’t come tell me another 2 weeks for it when all I wanted was for it to be cleaned nothing else. I would never do business with someone who can’t take responsibility for his short comings. I hope my dry cleaner learns from this and doesn’t use this mans services ever again

Several months ago I noticed that the arm on my leather sofa was soiled from food stains on it that needed to be removed. I remembered that I had some saddle soap and I used it to clean the arm. The saddle soap removed the stain but also part of the finish on the leather. I was petrified. This was a very expensive sofa and I had caused permanent damage to it myself.
I called Room and Board, the company I had purchased the sofa from, and they gave me the names of two companies they recommended. I called both and explained the situation, yet neither one for whatever the reason completed the work for me. In fact neither one ever came to my home to look at the problem nor did they even return my phone calls and emails.
At that point I turned to Unilocal and found Premier. I called and spoke with Bill Tobias the owner and he came over the next day. He explained what had caused the problem and how the sofa could be repaired like new. We scheduled a service appointment for the following week. The day prior to the appointment Bill called to confirm and then showed up on time with his daughter Michelle.
They explained again what needed to be done and immediately began the work. I thought at first the price was a bit excessive but they were here for over four hours. They vacuumed the sofa under the cushions and then gave it a complete cleaning using a special solvent. This detailing revealed additional spots that had been damaged previously by incorrect cleaning. At that point their dying expert arrived. He first matched the color and then sprayed the entire sofa. When he was done, it looked like new.
I found both Bill and Michelle to be delightful people, a father and daughter team who worked together so amicably. Michelle in particular was amazing. She could easily do stand up comedy if she so desired. I enjoyed talking with both of them. Michelle also told me the other services they offer including the cleaning of expensive area rugs. I can without any hesitation recommend them for leather cleaning and repair.

Wow, I am incredibly impressed with this company! I checked with many companies where I live to find someone who could clean my best suade leather jacket, but found no one. Then I read a magazine review about Premier. I called them, and mailed in my jacket. They did a fabulous job. It’s clean and still soft, and the color didn’t fade. But here’s the icing on the cake. I talked with Michelle about other specialty things they do and I ended up sending two of my husband’s very expensive suits plus his favorite sport jacket, all of which had moth holes in them, plus another favorite jacket that he had snagged and ripped the fabric. They completely reweaved the fabric! The holes aren’t there anymore. Neither my husband nor I can tell there were any problems with them. I don’t know how they do it. Premier saved us a LOT of money versus having to replace the clothing. I will tell everyone I know to check them out!
