Premier Cardiology

Dr Benvenuti may be a good doctor, but his office staff leaves something to be desired. In November 2015 I saw the doctor and he scheduled some tests. I asked to be sure I could get the tests done by December 31 because they would be expensive and I would incur 100% of the cost if the tests came in January.
On the day of the test, they called and said the technician was sick. Wait, if I call the day of an appointment, they made me sign a paper that said they would charge me because I didn’t give 24 hours notice. And really, a big clinic like Premier has only ONE echocardiogram technician available?
When I asked the office staff to reschedule or work with me to lessen the blow of the cost which was not MY fault, they could have cared less.
Then, a week later after I decided to go ahead with the test anyway, they did schedule it for Feb 3. But, a week before the test, I got a certified letter from them, rushed home on a Saturday to get to the post office to sign for it, and found out it was the doctor FIRING ME as a patient.
Dr. Benvenuti puts business issues above patient health and well being, and it’s very sad.

My cardiologist diagnosed me with AFib five years ago. This year it got worse, so she referred me to Dr. Banker to explore an ablation procedure. Dr. Banker determined that I was a good candidate for the procedure and performed it without complication. I am now free of AFib and off of all medications. Dr. Banker was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend him to a friend!

Benvenuti MD, FACC, FSCAI is an outstanding consummate professional and a TOP Cardiologist HOAG who specializes in the function, disorders and structure of the human heart; he deals with specific heart-​related disorders, such as coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, cardiovascular disease and valvular heart disease, etc. He is the BEST cardiologist and is so knowledgeable. I cannot thank him enough for his knowledge and expertise in helping me live longer and for saving my life and extending it. I am so appreciative of his vast knowledge, wisdom and very thankful he is my cardiologist recommended by my regular physician, Howard Fishbein.
Darel’s staff of Kenia, Arleen, Rosa are also consummate professionals and assets to his team. They go out of their way to assist the many patients coming into the office and are very caring.
I can’t say enough good about PREMIERE CARDIOLOGY, Dr. Benvenuti who is brillant, also shares his knowledge to educate his patients in a very kind manner. He never acts superior but has such a great manner explaining your condition and medications in a positive manner that the patient can understand. He doesn’t talk «at you» but «to you!» You leave his office more knowledgeable about your condition than when you went in. My family and I are very thankful that my heart health is in his trusted hands.
