Their portions here are giant! I always get cookies and cream when it’s available and it’s so fresh and light tasting compared to other fro yo places. They also give heaps of toppings and I actually had to tell the lady to stop because the cheesecake bites were literally overflowing!(At other places I shamelessly ask them to add more haha) Also don’t forget to sign up for a pinkcard to get a free yogurt after 10 purchases!

I grew up loving this place but they can take a lesson from Yogurtland that charges by the weight & has ALOT more options to choose from. Pinkberry has 1 flavor of yogurt & limit you to only 3 toppings as opposed to Yogurtland you serve yourself with no limitations of how many toppings you want. Yogurtland’s fruit is just as fresh as Pinkberry’s. 1 regular order at Pinkberry cost me $ 5.95 when my bf & I ordered 2 regulars at Yogurtland for $ 8. You can’t beat that! Ever since my bf introduced Yogurtland into my life, Pinkberry is now out of the picture.

Pinkberry franchises tend to vanish in LA but luckily there is one left in Newport to get my fix. They just started happy hours from 5 to 7 this month. :)

On a hotter-than-fishgrease kind of day, you want some relief. You want something to cool you down. You want something with more spunk than ice water or a can popped brewski. You want something with tang and bang. Pinkberry takes care of that in a gentle way. I stick with what I call a triple threat, original yogurt, popping boba and pineapple. Not that much of a threat, I lied. But it suffices in a simple way. The hubby gets the strawberry pomegranate shake. Nothing complicated about his choice either. The employees here R-O-C-K! They are ready and willing to help. Cheerful and full of smiles! And when there are no other customers, they are cleaning counters and the yogurt making machines. Gold stars for the 3 who were there that day we came in. I suppose the only thing that this place could use is more seating indoors? I can only assume that people usually take their Pinkberry’s and split and those who do hang around probably don’t for too long. After all it’s not a café where you linger for hours, it’s a frozen yogurt chain, get it, eat it and go.

Go there all the time when in Fashion Island. The Original flavor is the best. Very refreshing taste cannot find anywhere else. Reward system allows for free yogurt. Only problem is not many Pink berries around.

I walked into Pinkberry, this horrible smell took my attention. I didn’t even want to stay there. Then I ordered my favorite yogurt and handed in $ 100 bill. The girl that works with an horrible attitude said she needs to go back and get change from the manager. Manager walks in and says I’m sorry we don’t have a change. Can you go to the ATM and get change?! Then I said, ok I’m not going to get it then. He totally took it back and threw it into the trash. Really? Is this the customer service you are providing? Easily he could have gone to an another store right next to them and get change. I will never go back. Totally learned my lesson about their customer service!

I loooooveee Pinkberry, but this location really skimps on portions. Somehow I always get a tiny amount of yogurt here, it looks nothing like the photos people have posted. Maybe I’ve just experienced some bad luck the last couple times I was here? The yogurt tastes amazing(Pomegranate is my fav) but I hate paying $ 5 for a tiny amount of yogurt :(Whenever I come here the portion never even rises out of the cup… I could put a completely flat lid onto my pink berry cup and it wouldn’t even touch the yogurt. Oh well, in the end I’ll keep coming back because it tastes so damn good!

I am a Pinkberry virgin. How could I have gone this long without knowing what I was missing? Sunday about 11:45 and walked by but noticed doors were closed and then ahhhhh… the pearly gates opened, inviting me in. I must have been there just at the right time. There I was wondering if this was a divine moment? Or was I going to once again in my life be a sinner diving into temptation? Heck it is only frozen yogurt for heavens sake so let’s do this!!! I tasted the chocolate hazelnut(smooth and sweet) and the original. I chose the original and had her put on strawberries and nuts. It was scrumptious and wished I had ordered a larger portion to save for later. I had a mini but for $ 3.50 all I could think about was I should have walked into the sin den and had a sugar cone at Baskin and Robbins for that price. Not sure what the fuss is and why lines, but it was pretty decent.

Came here after a trip to Laguna. I have to say the nicest staff I have ever meet! Thanks Pinkberry Newport! Try the pumpkin… It’s perfect!!!

They don’t have many flavors to choose from and they aren’t self-serve, but the quality of their yogurt is far better than any Yogurtland or Cherry on Top. It’s a bit more expensive but well worth it for what you are getting.

Pinkberry has always been one of my favorite froyo chains. It’s not self serve, but the consistent quality and the creamier texture of the froyo makes up for that. Tried their cookies & crème which was surprisingly rich and creamy — a perfect way to satisfy that sweet tooth without clogging your arteries. Do think the portion sizes are a bit small for the price, but I would say its worth the visit.

One of my frozen yogurt favorites, but not my favorite location out of the remaining stores. How I miss the now defunct Irvine Spectrum location. Fashion Island finds itself with a smaller Pinkberry. Still, they tend to have the usual smiling employees who will give you samples of the different flavors upon request, and are sadly very exacting about the sizes of yogurt and portions of toppings they give. I’m not crazy about their version of Greek Yogurt — it’s fine but I probably wouldn’t be really interested in trying it again. I do like the original tart flavor, mango, and watermelon(which is not offered now — — hopefully they would bring it back) flavors. I would like to try the pomegranate, coconut, and chocolate flavors in the near future. Their store in Santa Ana is larger with more seating space. At this one, which is much smaller, we sat at a counter to enjoy our yogurt. For those who are interested, there is a Pinkberry app and a rewards card. I don’t use either as I don’t visit Fashion Island often. It’s unfortunate that there have been closings in the Southern California area(i.e. Diamond Bar and Irvine). I hope this one could stay in business.

I love self-serve froyo, that’s the fun of frozen yogurt, mix different flavors and toppings together to create you own froyo. Pinkberry won’t be my top choice for froyo only because it’s not self served. I hate Greek yogurt, but pinkberry’s Greek yogurt is amazingly good and it doesn’t have the typical Greek yogurt taste. But $ 5 for a small cup? Nooo, I’d rather go somewhere else.

So yummy! Salted caramel is the best! Helpful staff! Amazing location right by Nordstrom. One of my favorite yogurt shops. Staff is very helpful and will even help look up specific nutritional information if you are crazy about that kind of stuff like me. Not the cheapest yogurt but totally worth it, especially if you need a little pick me up while you are out shopping at Fashion Island.

The product is the same as any other Pinkberry. But I can say that the service is very friendly. The staff member was generous with offering samples, generous with the toppings, and overall, just plain friendly. It’s not a big store, but there are a couple of tables and there is wi-fi.

You can’t miss this place. How? There’s always a queue out the door and halfway around the mall. Is it worth it? Debatable. Are you craving something fruity and refreshing, or ice cold, sweet, and loaded with yet more sugary sugar goodness? Then, yes. Now hurry up and get in line before the people behind you do!!!

Okay, in the battle of best fro-yo places, I can’t say with confidence that Pinkberry has won my heart over. No, I am not impressed. It’s still good froyo, but I wish they had more toppings, they allowed customers to self-serve(I like to DIY), and they are more expensive than other places… and by other places, I really only mean Yogurtland. Yes, in the battle of chain fro-yo places, I give my crown to Yogurtland. Anyway, forgive me, I’m diverging from the actual review for Pinkberry. So, all I tried was the salted caramel in a cone, no toppings b/c I wanted to try and taste the salted caramel for what it is. in its original flavor. And the final verdict was no, I’m not impressed. It’s not salty enough and not caramel enough for me. Sorry, Pinkberry, I won’t be visiting you any time soon. On the other hand, the staff was friendly and helpful, even stamped my friend’s Pinkberry card twice. :o)

I always wondered why people raved about pinkberry… and I do now. Compared to Froyo in Canada, Pinkberry is WOW… orgasmic(was I allowed to write that?)… I had it twice in two days. the first day with plain froyo with lychees and mangoes… the lychees were juicy and succulent and the mangos were sweet. The froyo still gives you the yogourt taste which I think is awesome! The second day I went back… I decided to try the pasionfruit coconut swirl. I was contemplating about the pomegranate flavour and I was pleasantly surprised that samples were offered. THe service is efficient and everything order is printed so that you get exactly what you ordered. With so many people coming in and out. the staff are doing a good job. I still remember receiving my pinkberry — my eyes lit up like a little girl on a Christmas day. I miss you already pinkberry.
