Orthopedic Surgery Center of Orange County

My daughter had a big knee surgery here with Dr. Petrie. Everyone we dealt with was great and really made my daughter feel comfortable. I like that the anesthesiologists come from Hoag Hospital. That was a huge plus in my book. I hope that we won’t need orthopedic surgery in the future but if we do, we wouldn’t hesitate to go back to this surgery center.

If it would be possible to give 0 stars to this center I absolutely would. I received surgery there from a great orthopedic surgeon (Dr. Andrew Gerken through the Newport Orthopedic Institute) and paid my bill in September and thought everything had been settled. I then all of a sudden receive a bill in mid-​February for an unsettled account that was written in a very threatening manner explaining that I would have my debt to them turned over to a collection agency in two weeks because of the many attempts to contact me (they never did) to settle the bill. After trying to contact them for over a week through their given number (which immediately went to voicemail every time) I finally received a call back from a very rude operator trying to accuse me of not paying my bill. I finally was able to pay the bill and settle the debt without any collection agency nonsense but I have seen enough to say if anyone I know ever is considering surgery in this center I would strongly recommend against it.
