Loveeeeee this place! I work very close by and Come here all the time when I take a lunch break. I have never been disappointed and everything I’ve tried here has been beyond delicious. The staff is super nice here also especially the ladies always taking the orders up front. This place beats rubios by far !

It’s close to my job so I come here when my coworkers give me no other choice. It takes my hunger away but it does not satisfy it. Doesn’t taste authentic to me at all so every time I go I don’t expect it to taste like someone’s abuelita is slaving away in the back. The foods ok parking sucks prices are average 6 $ being the cheapest for a burrito with some chips tossed into the little paper boat tray they give it to you in. The salsas they put out aren’t very appetizing either in my opinion. I sampled them all. I give it a «Meh.»

Unilocal challenge 032⁄365 La Salsa was good when i ate this a lot back in 99. There was one across the street from my former workplace in brentwood near ucla/university high school(both my alma maters). The food, especially the steak used to be sooo good… Then commercialization and processing went a whole new level. There is nothing fresh bout this brand. Just because the pico de or chile is cold or salsa counter is clean does not reflect feesh foods. My chicken burro was mostly air. Meanjng empty. I basically got a big ass tortilla filled 4% to capacity. Left still hungry and sad la salsa basically sucked. Service was super slow. Staff was courteous. Restaurant was filthy ergo i sat outside in the cold rather than risk getting a rash. Heyyy im in a new town, my body needs to adapt to all these rich and successful white people so i dont get their coodies. Quote of the day. «Im not racist, im just allergic blacks» –Mike.

Fresh? Yuck. Not authentic Mexican food obvi — but, I got two chicken tacos that were stuffed with lettuce, dry chicken and the smallest dollop of guacamole. Even with the salsa verde and limes, it was still bland. I would say Del Taco is actually better and cheaper. About $ 6 for two tacos and a bag of cold chips? — no thank you. I learned my lesson.

It’s a hop and a skip away from my office so this is why I end up here every so often. A lot of the people in my office go to is their taco salad– You can add a protein(chicken, steak or carnitas) to it. For a little under than $ 9, this thing will get you stuffed. The taco shell it comes in is hit and miss– sometimes it has that crunch factor but on my most recent visit, it was a bit more on the stale side. Either case, it is loaded up with beans, rice, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream and cheese. Don’t forget to pay a visit to the salsa bar immediately to the right of the cashier. My only gripe with this is that the cups for to-go salsa is mightily small, so you have to scoop a couple to get what you’re looking for. All in all, not bad for a cheap lunch option– I have yet to try any of their other items because the taco salad is my go to.

You just can’t beat the fresh tasty dishes at this place. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas Suizas and they were outstanding. I got extra salsa but there was no need to add it to the dish since the meat was perfectly spicy. The only problem is the parking and how long it takes to get your food but it’s so good it’s worth the wait.

Service was fine. Seemed very busy around 1:20 pm on a weekday when I visited. What I ordered was okay, nothing special. Two-stars mainly because the salsas from the salsa bar at La Salsa are really bland tasting. I feel like they may not be using quality ingredients. They look good but do not taste good. There is no bathroom.

Fake Mexican food. It’s okay but it’s definitely not authentic. I think it’s way over priced and the chips that come with everything are always stale and old. The good is that the food is okay and it comes out really quick.

Love this location. Great service and great food. The parking sucks but I still eat here at least once a month. I love the chicken nachoies with extra Rojas and extra chicken. So yummy!

We’ve been eating La Salsa at this location for quite a while since the Huntington Beach location closed. We’ve probably tried about 80% of the menu and there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. My husband was a little disappointed when they changed the fish burrito years ago because that was his favorite item here. The service and quality level is consistently good. We also subscribe to their emails and constantly use the discount coupons($ 2 off $ 8+ or $ 5 off $ 15+) and they even recognize us now.

The food was fresh, the service was great, and the prices were awesome. I wish they had these places on the East Coast because they would give Taco Bell a run for their money. A large variety of salsa for the many things that they have on the menu. This will be one of my go-to spots whenever I’m on the West Coast.

my first time in a La Salsa Fresh it was pretty good for an fast food style restaurant. I ordered the Overstuffed Grilled Burrito it had A heaping double-portion of chicken chucks, habanero jack cheese, fresh salsa and guacamole all packed into a flour tortilla and grilled up to a two handed perfection. My associates had a no Rice no Beans Burrito, it had lots of meat and veggies– grilled chicken, fajita veggies, zucchini, broccoli, carrots, corn and salsa combined with habanero jack cheese and poblano crema and then wrapped up tight in a flour tortilla. looked really good Dave had a Stuffed Fajita Quesadilla, a giant chipotle-flavored flour tortilla packed with grilled chicken(double order), fajita veggies, multipule cheeses and a mild ancho chili sauce grilled up and served with fresh guacamole and sour cream. we sat outside on the patio/sidewalk the restaurant was clean and the servers were friendly. cool salsa bar too with a dozen different types and temperatures of salsa I didn’t get to check in or take any pictures as my phone died as we walked in :(

I’ve only had the Mexico City Tacos here, they are really good and a nice size for the price. I hope they never take out their 99¢ taco deals but either way I’d still come here. The chicken is a bit dry but still tasty. The carnitas are moist and have a nice flavor. A few times the salsas and chips didn’t taste too fresh.

Got the chicken tortilla soup for lunch today. It came with a bag of chips, and I grabbed salsa on my way out. Soo good! Definitely recommend this place!

I always make it a point to come here whenever I’m in the area. LOVE the seared salmon & seared yellowtail rolls. If I could I would give it «ten» stars because I truly feel as though I’m in heaven.

Good quick Mexican fast food. Had the Los Cabos shrimp burrito. Was very satisfied. Had chips and salsa as well. Chips were nothing special. Big enough order to share. Salsa bar was good. Convenient to my office and hotel. Great for what it is.

I find myself at La Salsa occasionally when I need a quick«Mexican» food fix while on my lunch break and Taco Bell is just not«Mexican» enough(snort)! I always get the Mexico City taco plate or a Los Cabos shrimp burrito. Both are not a trillion calories(not counting the chips!) and they both taste pretty decent. The tacos are like street tacos w/just onions, cilantro, hot sauce and I always get steak. The shrimp burrito is pretty good, too and has huge chunks of avocado in it(get it with no cheese — seafood and cheese together is just NOBUENO). Service here is always super friendly and the line moves pretty quickly. I dig it.

Really good gourmet burritos here but I recommend that you call ahead as it does take them a bit of time to prepare your food for you. The meal usually comes with chips which are delicious as is there burritos. I have only tried the chicken gourmet burrito and it is on point. You can tell the ingredients are freshly used to perfection. There is immense flavor in the burrito so you don’t really need salsa even though I get it still. A good place for lunch and the prices are pretty reasonable.

I come here for a cheap place to eat during lunch. I ordered the double stuffed grilled burrito with steak. It was really big for sure but the steak was way too salty and the oil dripped to the bottom of the burrito and made the tortilla soggy. The order came with chips and salsa. Not a bad deal I’d say, especially when you are super hungry. If you’re coming here for cheap, authentic Mexican food then I’d certainly say that you’ve come to the wrong place. This is a good lunch option for those wanting some decent Tex Mex fare. The service here was good and fast, the food was given to me very quickly. Overall not too bad of a lunch option if you are craving that burrito. My favorite order here is definitely the fire roasted bowl.

On my recent trip to California I was dreaming of delicious tacos. This was my first trip to Irvine/Newport Beach and I had no idea that I had landed in the equivalent of a suburban shopping mall. Ugh. There were almost no food choices and I was so excited to see a Mexican grill within walking distance of my hotel. Unfortunately, this chain taco restaurant serves of bland texmex. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong with the food, but there was absolutely nothing right with it either. I get better at home on the East Cost; skip this stop on your trip.
