Gina Mazone

Thank God I found Gina Mazone. She’s made my hair look better than it’s ever looked in my life! I literally get compliments EVERY SINGLE DAY.
To digress for a moment — rewind back to my experience before Gina (also known as B.G.)…I had no idea who to go to, so I found someone on Unilocal with good reviews. Let me start by saying that just because someone «specializes in extensions», doesn’t mean they do them well. This person charged an arm & a leg for her services, and I obliged considering I had no experience with extensions and people had spoken of her on Unilocal as a «hair goddess». It did NOT turn out well. I believe that she was probably capitalizing on people like me who just didn’t know what they were doing. I spent way too much money, and had a head (overly) full of course, very fake-​looking extensions that were impossible to style. On top of it, if anyone got near my head, I was considerably self-​conscious because this other stylist had done the extensions in a way that they literally stuck out on my head, and if you barely touched or patted my head, you could feel them piled up and matted on each other. Awful. Unknowingly, I began to conclude that maybe this is just the way extensions are… maybe they’re just not for me. My hopes of finally having long, voluminous, flowing hair would never come to pass. Sad! Of course this all occurred (B.G.) I had no idea Gina and her magic were just around the corner…
Fast-​forward to 3 months later, I was telling a friend of mine about my B.G. plight, and she urged me to go to a stylist and friend of hers who she said does GREAT extensions. I put my trust in her, considering her hair looked great, and booked an appointment with Gina Mazone. OMG!!! Completely different experience than my last. Gina did the MOST AMAZING JOB. The extensions she put in were completely manageable, blended in with my hair, looked natural, and stunning! Even better, Gina’s prices are affordable/​reasonable. It made me sick that I had paid this other person a disgusting amount of money and they hadn’t even done a good job. Going to Gina showed me that, if someone is charging a gross amount for extensions, you might want to think twice. Gina charged me about half of what the other stylist did, and the quality was a MILLION times better. On top of it all, Gina is an just an awesome person all around. I look forward to the few hours we spend together every 6ish weeks!
To sum it up:
B.G. = hopelessness.
From the moment I met Gina = gorgeous hair.
She definitely has a loyal customer in me and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking. You will not be disappointed… guarantee. Stunning hair is within reach — thank you, Gina Mazone!

I initially found Gina through Groupon years ago trying to save a little money. Although, I pay a little more than that initial visit, I’ve stayed loyal to Gina because she is the best at color & highlights. I see her regularly since I have fast growing gray hair (unfortunately), but she manages to make my hair look great without frying it. Not only is Gina a great stylist, she is also easy to talk to and down to earth.

I recently had Gina do highlights on my fine blond hair after years of only trusting one pricey celebrity stylist in Beverly Hills. I am so thrilled that I took the plunge and tried Gina. She did an incredible job on my hair while maintaining the health and shine. I am so happy with the results. I love my guy in Beverly Hills but grew tired of the drive and the price. He also often had more than one client going at the same time so could not devote himself to me. Gina was there for me the entire time and did a very thorough precise job and it turned out perfect. She is a lovely person as well and takes pride in her work. I am so happy to have a perfectionist who has trained with the best of the best working on my hair. Great salon too, easy parking and the best products. Thank you Gina!

Ok, not sure where to start but she is A-​MAZING! I call her the «extension whisperer» because nobody does hot heads like Gina. She also rocks my color and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been complimented. She’s also super cool and funny so it’s always a treat. «Good hair + Good people = 5 star review!

Gina Mazone is AMAZING! If you are looking for the most beautiful beige blonde, the search is over. GO SEE GINA! Not only is she the most talented colorist in town, she truly cares about the integrity of your hair and getting or keeping it healthy. She trained with the best of the best celebrity stylists in LA and is here in Newport Beach without all the hype. She shoots straight, gets you in and out in no time, and looking like a million bucks!
