This studio is outstanding! While taking a long vacation during the holidays in Southern California, I was invited by a friend to Gerda’s studio in Balboa. I took 2 private lessons with Gerda and 2 group lessons with a very small group that felt more like semi privates. I am a usual Pilates goer in my hometown and visit many studios when I travel. Her studio has the most updated state of the art equipment, everything was so chic, and the whole environment was extremely welcoming.
Gerda is amazing, so in tuned with what your body needs are. Every workout is based on your specific needs. In the group setting my workout was amped up because she knew I was an athlete, while another member with physical limitations was almost getting a physical therapy session — everyone got her full attention!
I will absolutely go back to Gerda’s studio every time I am in town! I would recommend her studio to anyone no matter what their age or fitness level is.
