The girls are rude, rough with your hair. They didn’t even section off my hair. I left with knots in my hair and they got irritated when I made special requests to not use products. I felt very uncomfortable and upset when I left. It was like they were mocking me. I’ll never go back and will tell others to stay away. Horrible place. My hair feels fried.

Nazy Curtis is the absolute BEST!!! I’ve been a committed and long time customer of her’s, and will continue seeing her for years to come. Nazy is professional, classy, talented, and has an artistic eye for cutting and designing hair. She honestly knows how to style my hair so much more skillfully than I do. She knows exactly what styles look good on me and which do not. She will seriously take her time with you and you will feel like a priority every single time. Getting my hair done here has always been a pleasure. Getting to know Nazy on a personal level over the years has also been a huge blessing. I greatly admire her strength, strong will, and the deep compassion she has for people. She has had a positively profound impact on my life and I encourage you to consult with her for her expertise.
Even though I live about 40 miles north from where Nazy’s salon is located, I refuse to see any stylists nearby because no other hair professional I’ve ever seen can even begin to compare to her. In addition to cutting and styling hair, she also carries her very own line of only the highest quality hair systems (real, human hair wigs). Many people suffering from hair loss as a result of Cancer, Alopecia, and Age, have sought her help and expertise to specially custom design personal hair pieces for them. Nazy just has so much compassion and love for people. She’s truly a wonderful hair artist, a respectable business woman, and a great friend. I truly appreciate her for all that she has done for me.

When I went to look up the phone number for D’orsay, I used Unilocal~ I have to say, I was very confused when I saw some of the reviews. I know you hear about nasty people sometimes trashing businesses, and I cannot help but wonder if this is the case…
What I know to be true about D’orsay, is that Erica is an ARTIST! I have gone to five other colorists, all of whom are considered to be very good, two were even twice as expensive as Erica, and they cannot begin to hold a candle to her work!
I LOVE MY HAIR! The blond is phenomenal! It is so tasteful, and natural looking; if I had the face to go along with it, I’d say I look like a Ralph Lauren model in those full page ads in the Sunday NY Times!
Also, Nazy, who works with wigs, many of which are worn by people who are going through chemo, has a heart of gold. The gift she is giving these women, is priceless. The care she takes, her concern with every hair being perfectly trimmed and in place, and the expressions on the women as they leave, looking and feeling beautiful, is something to behold. It is very special.
D’orsay rocks. Don’t let any of this bizarre negativity, steer you away from what could quite possibly be your best hair experience!

The guy is great. Always positive and professional. His training is tops formerly from Juan-​Juan academy in Beverly Hills. Besides his good looks and modesty he was an owner of two previous salons, a mentor to many and an all around great guy. Humor? Well he has that too! Now feet back on the ground. Robert defines himself most as a servant of those around him. It’s the staff and the wonderful people involved with him that makes him most proud. No one is an island to themselves. If there’s any complaints I Robert Curtis must own them. If there’s any good done from our outreach and community service that it’s only possible because of my wonderful team. I don’t always get it right but I pray I’m given the chance to make things right when I misjudge and get it wrong. I hope to continue in the honor of service to you and to the community. I went to Robert Curtis after buying a deal from Plum District. Well, I guess you get what you pay for. I got a Keratin Treatment and highlight. He completely fried the front of my hair when using the flat iron during the Keratin treatment. The highlights looked alright. I have dark brown hair and he put a couple thick highlights in that just don’t look right with all the thin ones. The one good thing about my visit was that he gave me a trim for free. I think he caused more damage than good and dread my next haircut because I know I will have to cut many inches of fried hair off.

Love it here! I have been twice — so I am new. But thus far it has been an excellent experience. She really took time to listen to what I wantd, and make some recommendations. The result was great and everyone really works together as a team, helping me get my hair straightened and styled even faster. I am used to other stylists sitting and chatting when they’re not busy, and this place everyone works together. My favorite part though, was when a client came in to try on a new wig — (I suffer from a hair pulling disorder and relate to being self conscious, but I have all of my hair, truly FULL SERVICE) and she was taken into a beautiful private area with chairs to do her fitting. I am excited to have found such a great new place to have my hair done!

What can I say? She exceeds my expectations whenever I go back. I went back for my usual appt for highlights and low lights and on a whim decided to go darker and of course I didn’t bring any pictures. I explained to her exactly what I wanted and she came up with this awesome formula. My hair looks even better then ever. Love it Nazy! Also big props to her assistant Nadine who is so patient with people like me who are crazy obsessed with their hair. So if you’re like me finicky when it comes to their hair well you have found the right place.

I am a former hairdresser. And for years have looked for a hairdresser I could trust. I not only am extremely pleased with Nazy, but am happy to report that the girls who work in her salon are also very talented. Nazy is a hair artist… no kidding.

I went to Robert Curtis for a color, low lights and a cut and he exceeded my expectations (I normally don’t go to male stylists)! The color is perfect-​he was able to neutralize most of the red tones in my hair and I came out as a gorgeous chocolaty brunette. I love the cut too! He gave me more layers and added a little sass to my a-​line bob. I have received numerous compliments on my hair since.
The only negative thing was not even hair related. I am normally quiet and content, reading my magazine and being quiet, but I could tell he felt the need to keep conversation going. So next time Ill just let him know I savor the silence.
I would recommend him to anyone for color and cut!

Horrible experience with a recent yuko straightening done by Robert Curtis. Totally fried my hair, wasted a total of eight hours sitting in a chair and on top of that the ridiculous amount of money I spent. He made a very poor attempt to fix my hair with a silly conditioning treatment and no attempt whatsoever to call back and ask me how I’m dealing with hair that is so unmanageable. Total waste of money, would not refer anybody to entrust their hair to Robert. Needless to say, I will never return.
