Really? Who rated this place 5 stars? It looked like an empty café. Everything is available on the menu all the time. Great variety. Tried out the breakfast burrito… no good. Potatoes, sausage, egg. It was hot but the tortilla was dry and hard. It was ok… but was missing something… Prices are reasonable. I’ll try the regular sandwiches next time if I ever go back.

If you office in the Newport Beach area and are looking for a fantastic, affordable lunch, try Casey’s Café that’s tucked away in the Conexant business park. The pros: — Salad Bar: I can’t stress how amazing this salad bar is. There is a good variety of ingredients, it’s fresh, and affordable. A tip for the salad bar — Don’t use the cold meats. Build your salad then take it over to the person taking orders to chop the meat of your choice to top the salad. Warm meat makes all the difference. — TV: A projection TV that shows ESPN /CNN — Plenty of seating There’s only one con: Their soda machine is horrible. The soda is flat, tastes funny, or flat, funny tasting soda. Go with the canned soda. Oh yeah, one thing you should know about before taking someone here is the ambiance is of the«Industrial» genre. My co-workers and I call it «The Mill.» It looks like they could easily turn this thing into a saw mill or some sort of assembly line. Just don’t take someone here for a big business meeting of first date… unless you and person you’re trying to impress loves a good salad bar. Bottom Line: An affordable lunch spot with healthy options.
