I went in to check it out. Nice décor, lovely outdoor area. I ordered a dinner of enchilada and chile relleno. I received this huge plate of food. I couldn’t finish t all and it was very good. I took the rest home and enjoyed the next day for lunch. Try this new place, give them a chance.

Alright, so there was a Panini here that was a favorite lunchtime spot. It’s been replaced by this diner type place with breakfast/​lunch type food, and I was excited to try it.
So, I stop by on a Sunday, around 1, to check it out. Pretty empty, maybe 2 tables were seated. Ordered a country scramble omelette to go, sit down to eat it, and i’m sifting through the nearly raw, colorless potatoes, and globs of cheese, and I realize they somehow left the eggs out of the omelette. Kind of upset, I call the place, and it goes to Voicemail??? I leave a message, and now i’m fuming. I look back at the omelette I paid 12 bucks for, and I call them again. A pleasant and apologetic guy answers and promises he’d make it right. He offered to remake the entire thing, but that would be wasteful and I just asked for the missing eggs. So, in the middle of my meal, I drive back to get some damn eggs on my omelette.
I get there, and the hostess tries to convince me that the eggs were there all along, and I just didn’t see (or taste ??) them. I had a feeling this would happen, and luckily I’d brought the plate with me, so after showing her, she realized maybe I knew what eggs look and/​or taste like, and told the cook to fry up some eggs. so after a 15 minute break in the middle of my meal… i was able to finally eat. I also got the french toast, which was so-​so… not awesome at all.
Inside, the place looked the same as Panini, no noticable improvements since the transition; but in terms of service, I felt like they had better things to do than to get an order right in the first place, or to correct a mistake after the fact. Despite the fact that the place was nearly empty. For their prices, I expect a higher level of quality and service than I received on my first visit.
Will I try it again… yes, maybe, because it’s close and I love breakfast. Will I check my meal 15 times before I leave? Absolutely.
