Not only am I super happy with the extensions that Cindy gave me but I am also very pleased with how the root color that Valerie did turned out. I have very dark hair and it is generally very difficult to get the red pigments out without applying bleach. Valerie’s coloring gave me this really nice light brown hue that looks very natural. I’m very happy with them!

Stephanie did the most amazing job with my highlights. They turned out perfectly and super natural. I would recommend it to everyone.

I wore extensions with the braid technique for years… My hair was suffocating and it didn’t
feel natural. Sitting for hours and dreading the appointment. Trust me, I’ve tried other systems trying to get that natural feel and it is so time consuming, challenging, painful and sadly most

This place saved my hair and my self esteem. Nine months ago I went to a salon near my house to get a Brazilian Blow Out. Long story short, they lady over processed my hair leaving it like fried straw. I would touch my hair and it would just fall out. I search the internet for a solution and came across Cindy. I was so happy when I was able to get an appointment with her the very next day. Cindy performed a miracle. I got two rows of extensions, which help saved the remaining hair I had left. Today my hair is almost back normal, but I am going to still keep the extensions in because they make my hair look better than ever. i desperately needed something to be done to my hair. i was having trouble combing it after i showered even though i use detangling conditioner and oils before i even attempt combing it. so i Unilocaled salons in this area and called Addicted to Hair to learn more about the two treatments they provided. Cindy suggested I get the L’oreal leave in treatment since my hair was processed/​highlighted. I had an appointment an hour later with Alex for leave-​in treatment. Alex was so friendly and eager. She was honest yet kind about the condition of my hair. I loved that she suggested a softening trim to my blunt ends to help with the combing process. I also got advice and tips to help protect my hair as i swim three times a week. I got a blow dry and a dry cut to help soften the ends without losing length. I also got a consultation with Cindy about the hair extensions. Alex and Cindy both had them in. I also saw it being done to another client while I was there. I will be coming back for this service! I am very happy with the feel of my hair after the treatment and dry cut. I also got the 20% off as a first client, but I will def be back.

Wow! Cindy rocks. I never really considered getting extensions but after reading about Cindy’s innovative flat tracks, I was intrigued. OMG! Wow, what can i say about Cindy Orr, she is fantastic! I have been a client since 2005 and love her! SHe has changed my life, the confidence I have now because my hair looks so terrific, is crazy through the roof! I live 45 minutes away from her and will follow her to the ends of the earth because she is so good! Not only is she economically priced for the economy we are in, but hse does A plus work! We love Cindy and would never think of going anywhere other then where she does hair! Her hari extensions really are a specialty! She only takes 20 minutes to reattach them everytime! I’ve been seeing Cindy on and off for the last 8 years and my loyalty to her should speak volumes to the quality of care and service she provides to all of her clients! I’m over the moon thrilled that her new location is 5min away from me because over the past 8 years, I’ve followed her wherever she’s gone: Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, and now Newport! She and her staff are nothing less that professional, friendly and accommodating. I just love them!

Cindy and Valerie are the best! Kind, fun, they listen and are always mindful to make sure you’re getting what you want! My mom is Cindy’s client and uses the FlatTracs system for her extensions and I have never seen my mom’s natural hair so long! It does little to no damage to her breakage-​prone hair, it’s amazing truly! I don’t use extensions myself but I will always come to Valerie for my balayage and cut because she works absolute magic! Plus she has a great personality and is so much fun to talk with during the process! Thank you, ladies!

This place works wonders! First off, Beautiful salon, filled with beautiful professional women. The receptionists are so welcoming, and greet you with such a warm, cheery demeanor. I normally don’t wear extensions considering the fact that they are uncomfortable and require much maintenance. However, Cindy’s Flat Trac extensions are the most comfortable extensions I have ever worn. I sometimes forget that I am wearing extensions from how weightless the wefts are, Cindys application method helps with this as well. I get compliments every where I go, people are generally shocked when I mention my extensions. The Flat Trac extensions blend so evenly with your hair, giving the most natural look. I can wear these forever so I’ll definitely be a forever client.
Also, Brenda did my makeup for a work event and I couldn’t even believe the results! She can match any color to compliment or blend with your skin tone. My makeup did not looked caked on, my face was glowing! I felt confident and ecstatic, she made my night!

Just discovered this salon conveniently right off the 73 and a stones throw from Fashion Island that I am «addicted» to getting the doo done! The salon is modern, has great products, a very friendly environment, and at the hands of Alex, we look forward to coming back again!

Valerie does awesome color and styling. It’s a beautiful, chic salon with great products and customer service. Cindy the owner goes above and beyond to make sure her stylists and customers are happy.

Came here to get extensions last week. Cindy and Ashley did an awesome job. I love my new long hair. They were able to blend my naturally thick hair with the extentions perfectly. Other places in the past were never able to blend it well enough to look like my own hair. I defiantly will only be coming to this salon to get extensions. One of my Extentions needed a slight adjustment… I was able to get a next day appointment and Cindy was able to quickly fix my extension and address all my questions free of charge. I love these girls. They have such a fun sense of humor and make me feel right at home when I am there.

I was referred by a local celebrity to go here for my wedding extensions. I went thru a devastating divorce and my hair fell out. I met with Cindy and was shocked when she typed the amount she would charge me on a calculator, $ 750. It was four days before the biggest day of my life so i proceeded. This is a bar, not a salon so no cutting of extension to taper in with my own hair. She asked if I had someone to do my hair for my wedding and my two daughters and i said not yet but i was playing voice tag with a girl that did our hair for our holiday party and she was phenomenal. Cindy said her assistant was the best so I believed her and booked her to do the three of us at double the price from Christmas, 150 each and she would need to collect 200 down payment and 250 plus tip due at wedding. so i walked out after over $ 1000. her assistant showed up on day of wedding with a curling iron that never got hot and a brush, nothing else. if she was 18 i would be shocked, completely unprepared. All of us wanted partial up do’s and she didn’t have any bobby pins or product. the girl we had at christmas showed up with a trunk of everything you could imaging for hair! this girl only had her purse. we all had to redo our hair as we all looked awful. i was polite after freaking out she didn’t bring bobby pins (our wedding coordinator found some in a guest’s purse!) one girl got an undo. i paid her the 250 plus 100 tip so 350 cash. imagine my shock when i had just landed in italy on tuesday and i received vm from salon saying they forgot to charge me the 200. was i supposed to make a long distance call from italy? to discuss how unhappy i was? no. time disappeared, we wrote thank you notes, bought a house and it was finally time to get my extensions tightened. my appt was at 3:45, Cindy finally waited on me at 4:20 and attacked me about not calling back to pay off 200. i said i paid her in full for extensions and i felt i had overpaid her assistant for doing all three of our hair so poorly we had to redo. in short, she wouldn’t let me speak, was rude, only cared about the $ 200, not me or the wedding debacle. i asked if she was willing to lose a loyal client (I’ve been going to same hair salon for over 15 years) over a shotty job and $ 200 and she said she was and asked me to leave. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO ADDICTED TO HAIR THEY DON’t CARE ABOUT THEIR customers, I have a large circle of friends since I volunteer for Laura’s House and owned a home in Costa Mesa and now Mission Viejo. I am on the Board of Directors for a government agency and this will not be forgotten. I have never been treated so poorly. There is too much competition out there to not listen to your customers, cut off every sentence and back a girl that won’t be around long, she must be family. I will research and post my hair saga… stay tuned:) forgot to mention that my hairstylist is at a high-​end salon. has no access or referrals for hair extensions but sees a lot of them, she told me when she blended ext into my hair that these were the poorest quality extensions she has EVER seen. I still went back to Cindy because I thought I liked and trusted her. She is all about money which means her space will have a vacant sign soon. Don’t invest in such poor quality product, poor customer service and a snotty attitude.

This was my 1^st visit. I needed a color correction and cut. Alex did a great job and I am so happy with my new look. She really listened to what I wanted and offered advice on a new style for me. I also bought some products that I love.
I will be back. Overall great vibe in this salon. Alex is very talented.

I am beyond thrilled to be a new client at Addicted to hair. The Salon is beautiful with a great vibe. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. I had my hair styled by Brooke for a wedding and it looked great all weekend. I will definitely be going back.

I just went there today for a touch up for my extensions. Love how clean the environment is and how friendly everyone is. I’ve only been there once but then when Cindy saw me, she recognize my right away. She remembers exactly what I did from my last visit and the color of my hair even the smallest details!

She is phenomenally talented and her flat-​track system is the best.
I first contacted her after a terrible haircut. I didn’t have time for a consultation so I simply emailed her a picture. She matched the color perfectly and the extensions blended in perfectly. I have never received so many compliments on a new look. Moreover, people are stunned when I tell them I have extensions. They look incredibly natural and stay tightly in place no matter how roughly I treat them through blow-​outs etc. The hair holds curls beautifully.
The cost is very affordable and I love how quickly Cindy can install them and adjust them (45 minutes start to finish for my hair). I once had glue-​in extensions and those took forever to apply and were always falling out.
Cindy also has a bubbly personality and I’m always in a great mood after being around her.
I highly recommend her and I am very suspicious of these random 1-​star ratings when everyone else is giving her 5 stars…

Cindy is the best! I’ve been going to her for 6yrs now. I get so many complements on my hair. Her work is amazing. And now that she has opened her own salon and will be personally training her new staff of stylists, I know they will be as amazing as she is. Cindy would not allow anything but perfection. Quality customer service as well. She makes you look beautiful and feel welcomed and special. If you are looking for a wonderful experience, Addicted to Hair is the only place to go.
