Applebee’s

Just got an email today Monday 1÷18÷16 about $ 5.99 Burger Night with endeless fries so I went today with my family to try it and guess what? I ate all my fries and ask the waitress if she can bring me more she said that she can’t because it needs to be ring out in their POS system and today that option wasn’t available and they are going to add that next week so the Promo of endless fries was not available today. Doesn’t make sense at all. Oh and please don’t bring the tab if we are still eating and then say «Here’s your tab but no rush ok» Yeah right…

I was skeptical with all the bad reviews but I’m glad I didn’t let me try it…
I gave a five star because it was 12:30am ET in the morning and the food was Great.
We ordered the fiesta lime chicken and chicken Penne pasta on the 2-​$ 20. Meal, we got the 2 salads with it, the salad was Great.
But if you come here late night you will have to endure the loud music… But the food makes up for it. And the service was also Great!

Waitress was nice… But service was slow slow slow. We got there at 2pm ordered our food at 2:15 and didn’t receive our food until 3:20pm and the restaurant was not busy at all. (it was a sunday). Decided to get the food to go, ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp and they gave me four pieces of shrimp and a dry chicken breast… won’t be back here anymore.

Loved the facility; it had a nice setup. Bathroom was clean. My Specialty Philly Cheese was pretty good and recommended.
Now for the bad side: server was inexperienced and slow thinking. Fries and chips were EXTREMELY salty and that comes from a guy who loves salt.
Had to bring in the manger who was sympathetic. She offered apology and dessert, which we declined. She took one of the sandwiches off which was fantastic.

The service was nice and mostly friendly, however, our original waiter, who ended up being moved to another table before we ordered our food completely lied to the manager and our new waitress about mentioning a drink to us.
A flyer on the table said that if we weren’t recommended one of the margaritas, then we got a free appetizer. Neither waiter recommended so we asked the new waitress. She went and asked the original, he walked over and claimed he recommended every drink on the flyer. A lie. A lie so he wouldn’t have to be held responsible for an appetizer.
The new waitress was very apologetic and offered another appetizer.
The marinara tasted freezer burnt. The riblets tasted freezer burnt. The chicken fingers were something you’d find in a frozen meal at the grocery store. The fries were cold, hard, and completely covered in seasoning.
I love Applebee’s, but not this one.

I came in with some coworkers, we are all servers by the way so we have some insight. Our server only had one other table and they were just ordering drinks and talking. She was very rude, very slow. All of us had no drink for like fifteen minutes before we had to get another server to tell her to come over. No one enjoyed their food, I ordered some kind of chicken pasta. The plate was really hot, and the middle of the dish was cold… that means it was microwaved. Yay. It was just over all a bad experience. I still tipped over 20% because I thought maybe she was having a bad day? Idk, I might come back for the sangrias, but other than that. Just don’t go.

I love this place. My kids love it, the staff is friendly and my favorite is the American BLT

Good good food. Service a little slow but what I ordered was good. Salad and chicken roll up. Yummy.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I don’t write reviews on Unilocal,but today’s meal was just that bad. The entire restaurant has a sticky film on tables, chairs, menus, everything. The restroom smells like pee. Our food, which took forever to get out despite the fact the restaurant was nearly empty, was barely warmer than room temperature. Our waitress was nice enough, but not terribly prompt even though she had only one other table. The noodles I got had hardly any sauce, my husband’s dish (the same as mine) must have gotten double the sauce. Perhaps something has also happened with the food quality at Applebee’s overall… because I seriously could have bought a bag of heat-​and-​serve skillet chicken and it would have tasted better than what we had today.

Stay away! This place has horrible service. We were sat quickly that was about the only timely thing that happened. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks. 2 teas and 2 waters… Not a hard request. We got an app and waited 15 minutes to get silverware to go with it. Yum cold app. It then took 25 minutes to get refills and get our food order in. All in all our waiter was in no hurry to do his job. He had a whole 4 tables. It took 2 hours to get our food and leave. Our waiter Jerome («jeh-​rome» as he said) was only in a hurry after he dropped off the check. We spoke to the manager who wound up comping the meal but still not worth the hassle. The waiter was rude, slow and obviously not wanting to be at work. Probably the last time I’m going back to this one unless there is an epic change in staffing.

At one point in the 90s, this might have been Newnan’s best place to eat… but food quality and service jumped off a cliff about the time the economy collapsed.
Sadly, this place has never recovered…
The food is straight bad, the service is terrible, and I feel sorry for those who have friends that haven’t seemed to notice it.

Literally the worst service I’ve had in a while. Had an empty cup the whole night, received our appetizers (cold) the same time as our entrée. Had empty plates and cups filling our table, as BRITTON continued to flirt with the woman across from us. Even kissing her in an extremely inappropriate way. Never approached our table except to take our orders, drop off food, and drop off our checks. This was a joke. Wasted $ 25 on what could have been a great night. Britton lost a tip, Applebee’s lost our service.

We never go here anymore. Food is good but the waitresses have always been horrible and the managers aren’t any better.

Planning a dinner-​and-​a-​movie date with the hubby yesterday, we decided to venture over to Newnan and check out their (relatively) new theatre and use an Applebee’s gift card we were given in the hopes that it wouldn’t be such a disaster as the Applebee’s in Fayetteville always is.
SO much better! Of course the menu is the menu, but the food was very good and the service was excellent. We selected from their 2 for $ 20 menu which is one appetizer to split and 2 entrees. We also added a salad and bowl of French onion soup, respectively, and I had a glass of wine, so a $ 35 tab at the end was not bad at all. Plus we had lunch for both of us for today left over. My husband, who is a connoissseur of such things, declares the onion soup to be one of the best. We both enjoyed the chicken penne pasta and the salad was fresh and crisp. All in all, quite a nice meal! Next time we’re in the mood for Applebees, we will definately make the 30 mninute drive to this location and skip the one 5 minutes down the road :-)
