Tried to search for a new nail salon in the area. Came here as it was on my way home. A manicure is $ 15 (which to me was pretty pricy as to what I usually pay back home (CA) just for a mani).
The manicurist was very nice and friendly. Although I wasn’t too impressed with the outcome I received once I was done. My cuticles were poorly cut and not fully cleaned (see photo) and my nail polish coating wasn’t clean either. She did not use a brush to clean off the edges, instead she used her thumb nail to take off the excess polish. She even cut the skin on the side of my nail as she was cleaning my cuticles (at least she apologized and KNEW she cut me).
Unfortunately, I’d have to give this place a 2 star due to the poor job of cleaning and putting nail polish. But, the ladies there were kind and friendly.
I’d have to say that I am still going to be searching for a new nail salon to go to. The search continues…

I’ve moved to the area and been searching for a decent nail salon. After reading on Unilocal; I’ve decided to visit this place.
It is very small place but intimate. Lisa took care of me during this visit and explained their loyalty program which is $ 10 off of the 10th visit. So far, I’ve had my gel manicure on 10 days and no chip or anything pedicure still on and shining.
I will definitely go back again.

A back to basics pedicure experience. Not rushed. Detailed. Conscience about letting coats dry in between. Great foot massage. Well worth the trip here!

Love this nail shop! I’m a repeat customer and go about every 3 weeks. I always go to Cindy, she has always done a great job with both gel and acrylic manicures on me. She pays very close attention to detail on everything and is just easy to talk to.

I enjoyed my experience at VIP Nails. Susan was awesome– wonderful talk to, very skilled at what she does. My mani was painless and nails are flawless. She’s also very, very clean! Very important in a nail salon.
I looked over at a couple of the other clients while there and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. The spa pedi looked amazing! Everyone’s nails looked really good. The only reason why I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is cause of the décor inside. But what can you do… very price effective salon and great service. I’ll take the drawback of the ambiance.

I absolutely love this place. I have tried most of the local salons and this is the best by far. The staff is genuine and friendly. The spa treatment is fantastic. They do a great job on my ingrown toenails. Recommend this place highly.
