Amo’s Wash ‘N Dry Laundromat

Over 24 hours for wash and dry and almost $ 7 a load? Most expensive laundromat I’ve ever heard of; all that combined with very rude staff equals a never visit again stop. Save your time and money and head a mile down the road

We’ve been doing our laundry weekly at Amo’s since May while we’re renting a house in Portsmouth. If using a laundromat can be a delight, it’s here at Amo’s. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their card system is convenient and easy to use. The facilities are neat and clean. They even have wifi and a tanning salon! Plus they’re next door to Dunkin Donuts. What more could you want?

Never thought I would love a laundry mat. TAYLOR who is the store manager was fabulous. It was so clean and really organized. The machines were in great condition and really reasonable in price. We were passing through and found on Unilocal so glad you are here! You can even tan as well! Free wifi too!

So I normally do my own laundry but my son was sick for a whole week and my laundry gets backed up quick. So I used their wash n dry service and wasn’t at all satisfied. I’m not sure how to explain it but first my clothes smelled horrible. It was as if they washed all my clothes in dirty water with no soap and then added fabric softener. I can only compare it like the difference between washing your hair or applying dry shampoo. one actually cleans your hair and one only gives the appearance of clean. And on top of that they charged me 2x and forgot more of my bags but never called me. I had to call and go back to have my card reimbursed and to find out I had more bags. I like their laundry mat it is clean and has good machines. the staff is kind as well. but their wash n dry in my opinion is not worth the disappointment for the money I paid I expected to atleast have my clothes smell and look like they were washed. that’s why I gave 3 stars because as long as you don’t use their wash n dry service you should be good.

Very nice place. Super clean and the staff was very friendly. A bit pricyer than other places and the dryers took a bit long, but other than that I am very satisfied.
The laundry did not have that typical laumdrat odor to it which is awesome, thats the worse part about laundromats.
I highly recommend it and will come here again!

Ive been using their wash & fold service for a couple of years now and have almost always been happy. Mishaps that happened (human error, not the end of the world) were more than satisfactorily resolved, in a fast professional manner, and haven’t been an issue since. I highly recommend them if you need a wash & fold service– they also have a regular laundromat which is extremely clean and bright, as well as tanning service. Really nice staff and a super nice owner.

A very nice place to go and do boring laundry. Free wifi, very friendly staff and the place is very clean. Cost about $ 11 for two large baskets of laundry. My favorite part is the Laundry Card… no need to fish out tons of quarters, plus you can add $$ directly from your debit/​credit card.
Not many places to plug in your computer so make sure you charge up first.
I got there around 5 pm and it was not crowded at all. No sketchy people with sketchy stares… but the 90s light r&b music is making me laugh.

Never thought I would review a laundry mat, but this place is by far the best I have ever used.
–Very Clean.
–Decent Prices.
–Amazingly helpful and friendly staff.
–I was able to done in about an hour with ~40lbs of clothes under $ 10!
–Free Wifi
–Food and Coffee really close by.
