I’m new to Thousand Oaks. I went to Mindy solely based on excellent Unilocal reviews for my Mother of Bride dress alteration. Not only is Mindy an amazing seamstress with keen attention to detail, she’s also a delightful person who lessened my anxiety about ‘is this the right dress, color etc. ‘. Finally she provided such helpful info about local places for accessories and other last minute wedding details. You’re in extremely capable, professional hands with her!

I found Mindy doing a quick search for alterations near me. I had a dress I bought for my engagement party but needed to get it shortened. I walked in without an appointment or anything and she greeted me kindly. I asked what her turn around was and she said a week. Although that was a fair amount of time I unfortunately needed it by Thursday (today being Monday). I asked if it were at all possible to get by Thursday and she said yes! With an additional charge of course but very reasonable. My whole experience with her from beginning to end was lovely. I can’t wait to see my dress !!

Mindy was very polite and professional. I had three suits I needed altered and she got me in and out pretty quick. Her prices are very fair and I would recommend her to anyone who needs alterations in Newbury Park and the surrounding area.
I am also very happy to see a small business owner thriving in my home town and encourage people to check out places like Mindy’s before they go to the bigger tux rental chains.

Mindy is absolutely AMAZING! I have brought her a variety of clothes that needed altering and she has done a fantastic job on all of them! She is so nice and easy to work with and her prices are super affordable. I definitely recommend her if you need a tailor!

Mindy is GREAT! I always find myself going to see her at the last minute for different garments to alter. She always does it and is so wonderful to work with. She is great with doing rush items too! I would definitely recommend her to everyone I know. She is your go to place for all your alterations and I am so lucky she is right here in Newbury Park!

Mindy is not only knowledgeable in alterations and tailoring, she also has excellent customer skills. It was a hot day and she offered me water and a snack. That was very nice!
No wonder that she only opened end of last year and she already has a good following in the Conejo Valley.
I will send my husband for his tux rental for the Mrs. CA United States pageant where I’m a delegate as Mrs. Ventura County.

I took in my work uniform for alterations, not only was she able to complete by next day, she made multiple suggestions for a better fit and was able to show me how it would look. Jacket came put better then expected
