Anna’s is a solid Greek diner. They actually have a really wide variety of salads that I come for, but also lots of typical diner food like burgers, wraps, etc. Its all made pretty fresh by a little Greek lady in the back I think. An added Newburgh bonus is that the walls are totally covered in old Newburgh photos, so it’s almost like eating in a little museum.

Got of the highway for a quick bite to eat and saw this place on Unilocal. We ordered the chicken gyro with Greek salad and a side of fries. Meal was a great price and one was perfect for me and my boyfriend. Very filling and delicious. Friendly staff and atmosphere!

This is my absolute favorite for gyro and greek salad. they make the salad dressing and it is the best. Prices are good, it’s clean and they will deliver. I have never ordered anything else there but I promise you will be happy with any gyro or greek salad.

Been in Newburgh as long as I can remember. Annas is an old school Greek diner that is family run and features dishes sketched up the owner herself. she does some really good greek pastry and dolma.(stuffed grape leaves) the gyros are hit or miss but they are still the best in the area in my opinion. the souvlaki def stands out.

I’ve been coming here for about 20 something years since I was a little girl with my grandmother. The amazing thing is the same people work here and they are so friendly and always recognize familiar faces even after years. Best gyros around and if you don’t get their greek chicken noodle soup you’re insane(even if its 90 degrees out its THAT good!)

It’s a small place with a mom-and-pop feel to it, and probably the go-to place in the area for Greek food, though they serve typical American food(burgers, hot dogs, etc.) as well. I ordered a Southern chicken sandwich, and a chicken noodle lemon soup. The sandwich was good but the soup was a bit lemony for my taste. You might like it if that’s your thing, though. My mom ordered a gyro, which she seemed to enjoy and was a good sized serving, and a spinach pie that was definitely overdone. The service was good, though, and I’ll probably return at some point.

This place is great! The server has always been friendly(we always seem to get the same woman). There is a nice sized parking lot, so you don’t have to park on the street(as you do for most places on Broadway)…it’s also closer to the western end of broadway, so the area isn’t bad at all. The food was very good(we’ve only been there for dinner, but their lunches sound good as well). Tables were very close to each other, but it was fine. I was surprised, but happy to hear country-western music being played. We’veI would definitely go back.

Anna’s is a great little place with a HUGE menu; they have a lot of good greek food and and a pretty wide selection of sandwiches, burgers, and wraps. The office where I work orders lunch from here pretty often, a lot of people like the $ 5.25 and under menu which offer 10 – 15 options for a cheap price. As a vegetarian, it’s pretty easy to order from Anna’s; they are willing to substitute a veggie burger patty or eggplant for meat in most dishes. I’ve never actually eaten at the restaurant, but the delivery always comes on time with our correct orders.
