There’s a lot great to say about this place! Close to Portland, amazing views, friendly and welcoming staff, and FANTASTIC pinots. A friend recommended this place to us and we joined their«flight club» on our first visit. What a great place to enjoy wine with friends or alone and relax.

Very nice people. Very nice wine. A bit on the expensive side. Awesome view of the vineyard from the tasting room.

I loved the view here, and I really did like their wines!(To be fair, this was my 3rd stop of the day, but they stood out and shone through) I ended up buying two bottles, I bought the 2014 Pinot Gris, that wasn’t overly saccharin. And, I bought the 2011 Pinot Noir that had a slight hint of juicyness. The wines were great, I will definitely go back to taste their again. Despite, the staff not being as impressive. Near the end of the visit I got up to go purchase some bottles, and close out the tasting fees for my friends, and I was up by the bar and I get a condescending, «Oh you look confused, right now…» from the staff. ANd, I don’t think that is the best way of approaching a customer. But, that brief encounter didn’t sway my opinion of the wines, I still purchased the bottles that I was planning on. And, overall the tasting experience was great, they had bread and cheese and small snacks, and the tasting room is a fun place to be at.

The good: great view of the vineyard’s flora & fauna; 1 of the wines was yummy The bad: customer service. Out of 1 $ 15 flight, I only dug 1 wine. There were a couple that were so underdeveloped, we didn’t think they should have been opened.

My favorite Pinot Noirs and now my favorite bubbly too! Gorgeous views of Mt. Saint Helens, Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier and Mt. Hood. The owners, Scott and Annie Shull are down to earth and friendly people. Lots of parking and super easy to get to from Portland. Bring your camera or binoculars if you want to see some really cool birds flying around the Vineyards. They also have binoculars to borrow.

Bad customer service. Felt like I was annoying for asking for a flight. Nice warm breezy day, could not open the doors. Left as soon as we were done with our flight. Good wine, reasonably priced. Bad first stop, but didn’t that let get to us.

Stopped in at 3:30. Could not buy cheese plate or glass because it was too close to 4(closing), but they were willing to pour us 7 tastes. How fast do you think we should drink SEVEN tastes? Woman serving was brusque, snippy, and even a bit rude. Two wines we tasted were okay. Go to nearby Ponzi instead.

Very reasonable and moderately priced Pinot Gris. What a surprise — picked up a bottle at Nob Hill’s TJ in NW Pdx. Full in mouth, fresh, not too sweet. Good for the spicy bisque I’m making tonight:)

I dropped in for a tasting on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. I have had Raptor Ridge wine several times, but had never made it in to taste. The property is gorgeous and there are a few tables that encourage you to enjoy your tastings on the back patio. My standout favorites were the recently released Rosé I & the Grüner, we took home two bottles of each. M liked the Meridith Mitchell Pinot(we recently noticed it on the El Gaucho wine list) & Tempranillo the best. Margaret is lovely, and made mention that they plan to sell wine by the glass soon. They also have a summer lunch series that looked like a good time. The location is outside of winery row, located in between Beaverton and Newberg, so it would make a good first stop if you are coming from Beaverton or Hillsboro to taste in the valley.

In the winter this place may not have the best ambiance, this is definitely more of a summer venue as it’s designed to role up the garage doors and enjoy the patio. The wines however are worth checking out year round. It’s not a particularly large venue but they do take you through six wines and take the time to discuss each variety with you. I had several favorites(check out my tips), but I could not leave without a bottle of the Tempranillo. They have a variety of wines to try and they are very welcoming. One unique feature to this winery is that have a wall of scents that allows you to check out all the different tastes in wine, everything from fresh cut hay to thyme. Kinda cool to play with for a wino.

Excellent small boutique winery. Great pinots, treats and prices. Best experience in all of Willamette. Margaret was our guide and she had a wealth of knowledge about Oregon Pinots. If you are in the area, you must go there!

We stopped in the past weekend and were pleasantly surprised to find this gem in our backyard. Cory was serving when we went in and you can tell he has an extreme passion for wine. It was great talking to him and learning about their wines. And the wines… Their Pinot Noirs were all amazing! It was great to have 3(plus a bonus bottle he pulled out for us) to taste and really experience the different creations they offer. They are all very diverse from one another. Add to all of this the amazing view of the Sherwood valley it is hard to find a better place to taste. Great experience, great people, great wines. Thanks for making it a great stop for us Cory!

Great Pinot Noir. Drinking it right now and just loving it. So light and smooth you can drink a bottle of it. A bit on the pricier side but I’ll get it again.

Excellent Pinots! One of the 2009 Wineries of the Year by Wine and Spirits. Just tried them at the SF Pinot Days and they were excellent especially for such moderate prices.
