Great Clips

Ruined. My. Evening.
I walked in earlier and got a quote of $ 25 for curling my hair. I’d rather do it myself, but I had misplaced my curling iron and needed the job done for an event I was attending later that evening. «Great» I say.
I check in online, all that song and dance, come back with the perfect amount of time to get my hair styled and get to the event on time. I walk in the door and the woman behind the counter, standing next to the woman I had talked to earlier, says no, it’ll be $ 50.
I’m willing to pay $ 30 ($ 25 plus the $ 5 I was going to tip) if I’m in a pinch to get my hair curled, but $ 50? Absolutely Ridiculous. I could BUY a brand new curling iron for that price.
Just furious that the previous quote of $ 25 was not respected, and now I have no time to curl my own damn hair. Ruined my evening, will not be returning to this location.

Decent hair cut for men. But get what you pay for. And, when they screw up your haircut, so long as you don’t feel too uncomfortable complaining about it, they’ll get a more qualified barber to fix it (and give you a coupon for a free cut on your next visit… Which I never really understood cuz, if they screwed up my hair… Why would I want to come back for another mistake?)

This place always tends to disappoint. This last occasion I went I asked for specific haircut and the stylist has the audacity to argue with me at the end of the cut stating that that the cut was done how it was asked for. What a proper description of the cut I was asked for was given she still for some reason argued that that’s the cut that was given. I stopped going here for that same reason and this is my fault for giving them another chance.

I was getting married, and the stylist I thought I reserved was not at her salon. (sad face) Rather than going all bride-​zilla and freaking out, my maid of honor and I went to this Great Clips. The wait was only 20 minutes. The stylists did an amazing job, for both of us, and it was just what I asked for — not too much hair spray! Then, they let us change in the bathroom, take an empty station for makeup, and even pinned in my veil. Thanks, Great Clips, for saving my special day. Above and beyond the call of duty.

I usually like getting my haircut because it’s curly. It doesn’t matter where I go or how much the salon costs, most salons cut it unevenly. However, I do like a good cause. When I do get my hair cut, I go to Great Clips because they partner with Lock of Love. When my hair is long enough, I go in and get the amount of hair they need chopped off and leave with a new ‘do…all for free. I then go home and fix the work the stylist did so my hair looks even. Free is free, and when a haircut costs nothing and benefits kids in need, I can deal with doing a bit of the work myself.
Schedule an appointment even though Great Clips takes walk-​ins. You never know when you are going to end up having to wait for a family of six to get all their hair cut before you.

I have been going to GC to get my hair cut for at least 10 years. I won’t go anywhere else! You would think that a basic male hair cut would be simple, but you would be surprised how many times it has been screwed up! Patricia always cuts my hair exactly how I like it and is a pleasure to chat with. I would highly recommend this GC location! Ask for Patricia :)
