Found out that this place has been«CLOSED Indefinitely» due to what my friend described as «some police drama.» Dammit NJ, can’t you stay out of trouble for 10 damn minutes?

Stopped here before a Devils playoff game because Brick City and the Ale House were just way too packed. This place was filled with Devils fans, and the atmosphere was pretty good, but the service was awful. The bartender was taking shots with fans, and slurring her words as she took our orders. Minutes later we were served our drinks – not what we ordered. The bathroom was ridiculously small as well. Three stars for atmosphere, but there are definitely better options in the area. Avoid if you can.

Stopped by The Arena Lounge last Sunday for their first ever football Sunday, and I’m not going to lie I was pleasantly surprised! First off, their bar menu was incredible. Their PHAT Manning sandwich and pierogi are to die for. They had decent beer specials, I believe $ 12 for a bucket of beer before 1pm so make sure to get their super early. When I first showed up it was a bit rocky but as time went on more and more people showed up. Oh! There was also a wing-eating competition during halftime of the first game which was pretty entertaining to watch. One of the contestants let me take a bite off one of the hellfire wings and let’s put it this way, it was so hot my lips were swollen and on fire for about an hour! This is definitely for the more seasoned wing eaters out there. I’m used to driving over half an hour to visit another bar which plays all the football games on Sunday so I’m glad we finally have something local now as an alternative. Will be coming back every Sunday.

Stopped here before a devils game. It was pretty busy, but we got out drinks pretty quickly. $ 3 bud light was a great deal, you can get two beers and tip for the same price one cost in the Prudential center. The food is opposite however. The prices on the food are more than the Prudential center, and the things coming out of the kitchen didn’t look like anything I’d want to eat. This place is a means to an end. And it seems like there’s better place to hit before going to a game anyways.
