My Husband ordered food from here like a month ago & I have been craving it since! I’ve never eaten inside but everything I have tried is delicious! Today had rice, curry chicken, sweet plaintains & greens (photo added)… I finished that to go container in like 5 min! Truly amazing food

Today was my first time trying West African food and it was so freakin delicious! Some of the best food I have ever tasted, and its cafeteria style they serve everything from chicken and beef kebabs, fish, stews, rice, and vegetables. Run, dont walk here I promise you will be addicted! The food at Mon Berger is inexpensive, mouthwatering, and served with a friendly smile. Enjoy!

OK first this is a definite hidden gem… unassuming next to a pawn shop in Newark. brick city… One cavaet it is HALAL.
The food here superb. Staff friendly and attentive. Its next to my job its actually an easier walk to the is than our cafeteria. And you know what there is no lines… that is detrimental when it comes to an hour lunch.
First anyone who goes here knows of the «KABOB» its like a legend at the job and everyone race, color, creed loves the kabob. Friends visting from texas, loved the
Comes in chicken or beef… tender pieces of meat on a stick puts NYC kabobs to shame you don’t believe me try one
Let’s face it its west African. its spicy but until you add the minced Scott bonnet peppers your OK (make sure you ask for some on the side)…I always ask for some onions and peppers on mine damn its so good
Rest of the food is buffet style but its all good. Some of my co workers are in there like its the cafeteria. I’m shocked at such a buzz this place has created in my workplace.
