Something quick to pick it up at the airport. There are pre-packaged salad and sandwich. The salad is a little bit overpriced. The ingredients don’t seem too fresh. The tomato is over-ripped. Too soft and watery. The mozzarella cheese doesn’t taste too fresh. The salad dressing has weird taste.

First of all, this is in terminal C, not B. Second, don’t eat here. Staff was nice, but I had some very questionable chicken in my sandwich. Yuck.

The most blend, expensive, insignificant sandwich ever. And personnel is a bit rude too. Stay away from this!

Frittata is tasty!!! It has zucchini, mushrooms, bell peppers, potatoes and more I can’t remember. Pricey for a convenience store(disregarding that it’s in an airport) but a large portion. Def worth a try. Get your dose of veggies in a delicious way :) Also the service was good. The omelet was available in a combo for an additional $ 0.50 and the lady made sure to call this out to ask if I was interested. I wasn’t but appreciated the fact that she brought it up since I completely missed the signs showcasing this special. Quick hearty food before a flight, yup I’d return.

One of the worst sandwiches in my life!!! I ordered the mozzarella with Prosciutto and i received bread with one piece of mozzarella cut in 4 and I don’t know what kind of prosciutto it was but it was disgusting. You should learn how to make sandwiches instead of charging $ 10.00 for bread!!!

Tried the Jersey Gardens location. Had the Greek Wrap with chicken soup and came with a free side of couscous. First off, the Greek wrap was ALLWRAP and had almost no greens, no feta cheese, nothing! It was disgusting. Looks to me like they were trying to stretch on produce — $ 9.99 for that??? The chicken soup was disgusting. Tasted worse than canned Campbell’s soup — or maybe it was/is Campbell’s soup!!! And the couscous, I’m not going to even comment, well, okay, it tasted like the eraser of a number 2 pencil — at least that’s what it reminded me of since I used to bite that out of boredom during class in grade school. Seems like the Newark location has some OK reviews, but I HIGHLYDONOT recommend the Jersey Gardens location.

Rip off. We all know that restaurants in airports will gouge, because they can. This place takes the cake. The prosciutto caprese sandwich looked like it was brimming with prosciutto, although in reality it only had two pieces piled on top of the roll to give the illusion of a sandwich… with things *inside* of the bread. No such luck. Sorry, but $ 11 for two slices of prosciutto is fraud. What an absolute joke.

my husband and i got dinner at la tapenade in the newark airport on our way home from turks and caicos and were surprisingly pleased with our sandwiches. i got a balsamic chicken wrap with roasted red peppers, provolone, lettuce, and tomato. it was flavorful and fresh, and completely filled me for dinner but didn’t sit in my stomach on the flight. my husband got a grilled avocado and chicken sandwich that he also enjoyed. it was not too expensive, flavorful, and the service staff was nice.

They have a HUGE variety of sandwiches available here, as well as flatbread that could certainly pass as a delicious pizza(as I did with my kid). There are veggie options and meaty options. The sandwiches made me regret my Smashburger decision, as they all looked delicious. I can get a burger back in NOLA, but I kind of wanted to try a veggie sandwich. I did sneak a bite of the flatbread and it was really, really good. Also, they were collecting donations for the Red Cross. I don’t think many people were giving, as the 3 – 4 people ahead of me all said no. I gave a dollar and the cashier was super grateful. She even gave my daughter a free banana as a thank you. Unexpected kindness is a wonderful thing. Anyhow, this is a great place to get a healthy-ish bite instead of the usual airport fare.
