Friendly’s

Went for breakfast multiple times during the half price special. The food was excellent every time. Waffles perfectly cooked, French toast and pancakes delicious. They use real eggs and potatoes, decent service. My new breakfast spot.

Went there last night, it was busy, waited 15 min to get a table. had turkey tips & avocado salad, my friend had salmon & potatoes, our food was surprisingly good. service was quick & friendly, the place was clean. $ 28 for 2 of us, while not cheap it was better than expected.

This is my worst experience ever with friendly’s. It’s very busy tonight but my experience still should have been up to par. I ordered big beef burger with cheese and waffle fries. I told waitress no tomato. That was the only thing I didn’t want on that. My dinner came. I got burger with cheese on toast and few waffle fries. The menu said nothing about toast. I asked the waitress if I could have it served on roll. She didn’t even take my burger back. She just brought out a roll and I had to switch the cut in half burger to a roll. I was still eating waffle fries when the waitress came over and started asking me about dessert. I was not happy. This is the first time. When I explained to the waitress why I wasn’t happy with my dinner, she proceeded to argue with me. She said let me show you from the menu and she showed me that it comes with American cheese and a touch of mayo. I explained to her it doesn’t say anything about bread and that I was expecting the other things like lettuce and onion. She said oh that’s friendly’s fault for not putting the type of bread on there. That bothered me because the customer is always right. I will not go there when it’s super busy.
