The price gouging on in this store is insane. This store typically charges $ 20-$ 40 more than other local Westchester stores or stores in Manhattan for spirits. They sell High West Campfire for $ 89.99 – this is a bottle you can find everywhere for $ 59.99. And it gets worse, they currently have High West A Midwinter’s Night Dram on the shelf for $ 139.99 — it’s a $ 79.99 bottle of liquor. I bought 2 bottles of it in NYC at a liquor store near Grand Central for $ 79.99 off the shelf. Wine Bazaar has lost my business for good. There is just no way they can justify price gouging customers like this at the retail level. High West should seriously pull their products off their shelf. The liquor store next to Shop Rite less than half a mile down the road has better pricing or go to Harrison Wine Vault or Liquor Pantry in Port Chester – they are all stores being run reputably. I understand that bourbon and whiskey are hot sellers, but what Wine Bazaar is doing is completely out of line. I like the location, love the selection and the staff is very nice, but the pricing is so far out of whack I won’t even bother shopping here again.

The Wine Bazaar guys really know their wine. The prices are fair and they are always very helpful either when I’m on the phone ordering or showing up in person. I would highly recommend this store for anyone that wants good wine at a decent price.

This store is relatively small, but they have good taste in the wine department and reasonable depth when it comes to spirits. Prices are in-between the fancy wine boutiques and the discount shops. The staff is friendly, and parking is a snap. I combine trips here with shopping at the supermarket next door, so it’s particularly handy. A good solid suburban store.

New to the NY state prohibition of wine and spirits in the grocery stores, this works better for me than the precious, over-priced boutiques with cloying staff. I know what wine I like and like to get advice from the staff in a no-fuss, non-pretentious store with a broad price selection. The closest to my «normal» since moving here.

I would definitely ignore all the negative reviews. I go here all the time, they are very courteous and helpful whenever I go. The cashiers are even very friendly. Pricing is good and the selection it great. I’m trying to figure out how late they’re open. Goin to get some Jack! :-) Cheers!

Ignore those negative reviews. Owner, manager, and employees know their stuff. There is no attitude at all. Pricing is great, and they provide tons on advice of how to get great wine without paying up heavily marketed wines. Of course if you want to get the heavily marketed stuff, they have that too, for less than you’ll pay elsewhere.

If you like to buy your booze from a place that has all the class and upkeep of a miniature CostCo, Wine Bazaar is for you. Also, if you like redundant sections, because there were two areas for Italian White Wines and a few others, you’ll love it here. Oh, and also, if you like some guy sitting at a desk in the back shouting into the phone in his best Long Island accent, this place is great. That said, a decent selection of wines that trumps anything i’ve ever found in the Bronx. Just be careful, they’ll shelve a $ 150 bottle of wine in with the $ 20 bottles of wine. Double-check the price before you make your selection, unless you like surprises.

Decent deals, but pompous overbearing sommeliers. Not a fan at all. I dont want to be spoken to like an idiot, just because I happen to have a life outside of drinking wine. Not a fan at all.
