I love this store. As one of the few remaining places to shop downtown, it is a wonderful play to visit and look around. I buy the desk toys to decorate my desk at work and always have people wondering where I got them. Whenever I am looking for a unique gift, I check out Play.

This place is fantastic! The owner spent over 30 minutes helping me pick out a gift for a coworker. They have truly unique toys, gifts and fun products for children and adults. Definitely worth popping in if you’re in town!

I could really take or leave Play. It is really overpriced for what they sell, and they don’t really carry the best stuff for anything older that 10 and younger than 25. The staff is helpful, and it’s a shame they work for this store. You can go here, just don’t expect anything great.

Play is an adorable store and a great addition to Bank St. Looking for that one item that a collector you know does not have? Play has it. They aren’t just a knick knack store, though. They have items for everyone. I especially like going here for stocking stuffers.
Be prepared! You will spend more than you originally planned, but the wonder in your giftee’s eyes will be worth it.

Great gifts for your the young, and young at heart. This is such a wonderful place to pick up a gift you’ll take something home for yourself. They had WackyPacks (something I hadn’t seen since childhood). I love this store.

The Coolest store out of NYC!!! Play has something fun for everyone! Not just funny things, but beautiful gifts, too. Really funky jewelry, handbags, wallets, sculpture, journals and mobiles share the space with posters, gags, puzzles, games, candy and toys. There is every type of toy, from basic blocks and jacks to the latest USB Gizmos. My favorites were a wooden Catapult made in Oregon and wire sculpture of a dragon from Japan!
