Ray, the pilot, was great. We celebrated our 40 th wedding anniversary by taking a ride. It was our first time. The lift off was gentle. We just gently floated along. The whole experience was very enjoyable. Thanks to Ray and the crew for a great start to our day!

If you want to go for a balloon ride in the Smokey Mountain area, this should be your company of choice. My husband and I searched for a balloon company that had a more private and intimate experience to see the region by air during our recent trip to TN. We’re used to seeing large balloon companies here in the west and it’s not as fun sharing the experience with strangers. Ray and Mary Ann gave us the experience we were hoping for. We ventured on a beautiful morning flight that resulted in some of the most amazing views of Eastern TN! The experience didn’t stop there. We landed and were pleasantly surprised by the addition of a champagne toast. The best part is that they let me take tons of pictures and let my husband help them set up and take down the balloon. We loved the experience and highly recommend you choose What’s Up Ballooning for your sight seeing adventure!
