They recently renovated it and it still has the best produce anywhere! Have been going here for over 10yrs and their produce prices can’t be beat!

This place recently reopened with a new owner. I spoke with him and he was very helpful, he mentioned the selection would be similar to what was previously sold and the name would stay the same. He had done a great deal to get the place back in business, many things needed to be updated and brought up to code. It looks like he has done a great job. Everything seemed clean and well selected(interesting cheese, crackers, and spices). I bought the pre cut mango and it was spectacular. I didn’t see anything specific I would change but it would be great if they get a fresh bread section. And a larger selection of pre cut fruit.

This was quite possibly the best salmon we have ever made at home. Usually buy at WF or Fairway but the salmon here was phenomenal. Can’t include the price in with the 5 stars… iunfortunately t was outrageously expensive, but thankfully worth it!

Every Christmas I come here and place my order. They are reliable and courteous and know exactly how to handle a large holiday order. Their prices are very competitive and the seafood is ultra-fresh! In addition, they have some excellent sushi, which goes extremely quick.

I’m not one to proselytize, but people really need to shop more at spots like this, and less at spots like KK, where the center is an olio of über-processed food-like substances. Sweet Pea is a condensed but not compact space with great«exotic» produce, some solid cheeses, and a seafood section that unfortunately closes early. Compare it to H Mart for semi-difficult-to-find ingredients.

Based upon the reviews of Franco and Emily I figured I would give this place a shot for lunch. This is a great little market and seafood purveyor that you can walk through very quickly. The produce here is all very fresh and appealing. There is a decent sized salad bar for lunch options, as well as a nice international cheese section. Like the other reviews mentioned, this is a good spot for sushi where you will not break the bank. About 3.50 per roll makes this an excellent choice for a mid-day snack. Don’t go in expecting Crunchy Black Dragon Rolls, but they do have the basics like tuna, salmon, shrimp, and eel. I will definitely be back!

I agree with Emily A. They make some super fresh sushi there daily — except Sunday and Monday — no sushi available. The guys that work there are great — they helped me put together a giant sushi platter for a party I threw. The market itself is behind the seafood part — all kinds of yummy fresh produce and Asian goods.

Best sushi ever. It’s made every day at one o’clock and is fresh, relatively cheap, and delicious. They have a small but nice variety– California rolls, spicy tuna and salmon rolls, unagi, etc., that is great for a quick lunch. The seafood salad is deelish as well. The people who work here are always really nice, too. The rest of Sweet Pea is fantastic as well– lots of health food, fresh bread, good produce, and things of that nature in a small(compared to Whole Foods) store that’s easy to go through in a few minutes.
