New Hope Art Center

This is a really nice performance & exhibit space in New Hope, just a couple of blocks up Bridge St from the river. The space is so new that during the improv performance I attended the other night you could still smell the paint on the walls drying. The people who renovated the space did a very nice job. It’s a large second floor room, with a stage, windows, and plenty of space for paintings or exhibits. The bathrooms are brand new and squeaky clean, and everyone hosting the event was super friendly. I am sure this space will do well, but it’s probably premature to judge it fully at this time. They have lots of events/​exhibits planned, so come check it out, and then you can have dinner at Tastebuds, just down the block.
