Amazing! I get take out at least once a month with my coworkers and its always delicious. The black bean and corn salad is the best!!!

Updating my review because the food has mostly gotten better. Delivery became quicker too. Not a lot of places to order delivery nachos from, so I’m satisfied.

Found a $ 3 Taco/​Chips/​Salsa special on
. Was a good amount of food and delicious. Pear and walnut salad was fantastic. Loved the walnuts. Eaten there before and loved the place and meal but first time for delivery. Got it during rush hour and the delivery still came pretty quickly. Nice change up from burritos.

The three times I have ordered online/​delivery my order has been wrong. Pretty frustrating and confusing. I literally type the preferences in the comment box. Papa Grande is not worth the inconvenience, price and alright food.

Not the best but certainly not the worst as most of their menu options are tastier on paper than when you eat them.

I visited with a co-​worker who worked in the area and had visited once before. I had the spicy potato burrito and my co-​worker had the pulled pork burrito. They bring you a very generous portion of chips and salsa while you wait for your meal. The chips were bland and needed salt but the salsa was really tasty.
My potato burrito was stacked to capacity with potatoes, rice, beans and cheese. The wrap held up perfectly considering how much it contained. Very tasty and it had just the right amount of heat. I must say the size of my diet coke was gigantic. It had to be 48 oz. My co-​worker at all his pulled pork burrito and mentioned he’d be back.
The service was very good and friendly. A great selection of quesadillas, tacos, burritos, and wraps. The place is very clean and updated.

This place is good in theory but I don’t know how much I actually like it. Mixed feelings I suppose. They provide chips and salsa upon arrival/​with your takeout order and I hateeeee the salsa! Why does it taste like thick red tomato sauce?
So I usually get their chipotle chicken avocado tacos and those are pretty delish. I tried the jerk chicken and I think steak? tacos another time and they were not very good. The jerk chicken tasted burnt. I will still definitely go here and try other things, (their fried zucchini and cheese balls are pretty good) but it’s not the greatest. Recommend if your in the area though!

This place isn’t great at ALL. Prices are way too high I can get a authentic burrito for 5 dollar at a Mexican restaurant that will taste 20X better and bigger vs the 9 dollars (each) crap I received. There were pieces of bone in my burrito, the meat did taste ok but the pieces of bone and the beans that I requested to be taking out, but were still put in made me throw it out. The rice taste completly bland like box rice, no flavor at all. The «salsa» taste like expired canned marinara sauce. And the «bowl» I ordered for my son wasn’t great either my dog didn’t even want to eat it. The beans were canned, rice was the same bland box rice that was in my burrito. They seriously need to either reevaluate their prices or hire a better chef and start cooking with fresh ingredients instead of everything out of a can, box and/​or frozen. I don’t mind paying 9 dollars for a well cooked fresh meal, that is what I was expecting when I placed my order but what I received was completly horrible. By far the worst place on easton ave.
Oh and the delivery driver got to my house an hour and half after I ordered my food. Wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Well obviously this is not a Mexican restaurant is more Tex-​Mex than anything. Any time your Tacos have lettuce right there should be a flag that is not authentic so I will rated as Tex-​Mex. the flavors were delicious specially the chipotle quesadilla. They don’t get more stars cause they screwed up my order. I’m from Cali and we order twice to our hotel in a row. Will have to try the ceviche next time.

I had a good experience ordering delivery from here about two nights ago! The food came warm and the delivery person was very friendly and professional.
The beef chili was very savory and I admire how there was corn inside (one of my favorite vegetables). The scarlet salad was very fresh and balanced well with the vinaigrette dressing. Lastly, the bacon cheeseburger bowl was my favorite dish.
I loved the mixture of the hamburger chunks and shredded cheese. The order also came with chips and house made salsa. The chips were okay but I was not a big fan of the salsa; it was too tomato-​paste-​like. I prefer salsa to be more juicy, with cubed tomato, onion, seasoning and spice. If available, I would have eaten the chips with Tostitos medium salsa dip. Other than that, it was a pleasant meal!

Just used a gift certificate I won for this place. The guy at the register wasn’t the warmest person but did answer my questions in a friendly manner. I got the steak burrito, delicious, but wished they gave me 2 salsa, also delicious. One for the chips and the other for the burrito. It was a to go order. Best of luck! !!

Delivery took a little while but the food was definitely still warm. Fat Papa burrito was great. Queso was less so – I was hoping for a bit more flavor; that being said, I would definitely order from here again!

My feelings are so mixed on this place. It has great potential to be an awesome spot but my experience wasn’t too great. Here’s my take, I always like to start with a positive. Its location is sweet. Corner spot, big front terrace with plenty of seating. It was real nice outside today and I enjoyed being able to enjoy my lunch and the weather at the same time. I approve of the tacos, they are decent. I got 2 for lunch, pulled pork and shrimp. The pulled pork was alright but the shrimp taco was legit. They were pretty generous with all the fixings on top of the taco too and I’m appreciative of an abundance of fixings. Almost forgot, I ordered an ice tea and it was huge! It was nice not needing a refill.
Now for the negatives… service. Our waiter seemed like he was either stoned or just totally disconnected from the world or maybe both? We placed the order, he didn’t write any of it down, then responds by saying «sorry, can you repeat your orders, I was thinking about something else.» I mean really? You openly admitted you were just not paying attention to us while we placed an order (a really easy order nonetheless). Moving on, he brought out the tacos we both ordered but not the chips and salsa each meal was supposed to come with. We started eating, five minutes pass by, still no chips & salsa and now I had sour cream all over my fingers and realized we had no napkins and no utensils. After waiting a little longer, still no waiter, so I got up and walked inside the restaurant and asked for napkins. Out of nowhere the waiter appeared and followed me back to the table with all the missing items. So really, the service was just down right terrible. Also, salsa that comes with the chips is not good. It tastes like tomato sauce, no spice or flavor at all. Yuck.
Also a note to the owners, you should get some garbage cans for the outside terrace. It was windy today and stuff was flying off my table all over the ground and when I picked it up I had nowhere to throw it out. It might also be helpful in the sense that its less clean up for the waiters too. This is really a 2.5 star rating but I went with the 3 because the core of my meal was good.

Really gross. There’s tons of great cheap Mexican places in NB. Bad idea going here. Food is subpar at best.

I got takeout from here back in Sept and I really liked it. It’s definitely Tex-​Mex and a bit salty, but if you’re expecting that when you order, you won’t be disappointed. I had the corn and black bean salad and soup and they were both very tasty and extremely filling (would probably just get one of them next time). The delivery was fairly quick too and I was satisfied overall with this place. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area and in the mood for some Tex-​Mex!

So I was recommended this place from a friend and was sort of skeptical about ordering from a Mexican restaurant that had no actual Mexicans working in it. That being said, this place is definitely an «American Mexican cuisine» and not a true authentic Mexican restaurant. In a place like New Brunswick where you can get great authentic Mexican/​Spanish food, this distinction is important.
My food was fresh and tasty, in almost a Mexican-​inspired Panera sense and I plan on going back. The lime vinaigrette dressing made my salad (craving it!), and I love the focus this place has on vegan, vegetarian and organic food options. The prices are affordable and the portion sizes are more than enough as well.

Wow. Just had lunch here with my friend and we nearly had to roll ourselves out. I would HIGHLY recommend ordering the calamari chips they were amazing. The servings here are big when you dine-​in so keep that in mind. The service here is great, you can tell that the owner takes pride in his restaurant and makes sure everyone leaves happy. Great food, great atmosphere and great people not much more I could ask for.

Heads up for all of you grubhub users or anyone who orders delivery from this place. If u ever want your food not delivered or you wanna wait for two and a half hours this is the place to order your food. This place was good, I don’t know what happened.
