Love to stop here to get bread and pastries
I especially like their quesitos because they are not too sweet.

The Pan Del Cielo in Waterbury is amazing and we’ve always visited that one but because we live closer to this one, we’ve tried this location a few (too many) times. Each time it has been disappointing. The bread is the best but they seem to run out before we get there– just about every time we’ve tried. They also always run out of empanadillas by early afternoon as well which is disappointing and as they are open until 7pm some nights, the chef who makes the grinders, is gone before 6pm. We started to call before we visited to prevent wasting any time but once we were put on hold by the young girl who is always (barely) working for the ENTIRE 15 minute drive there, only to find out she completely forgot she put us on hold– oh and they were out of bread. We’ll take the trip to the Waterbury location or other establishments in New Britain who have better customer service and similar food. 2 stars for the food & beautiful desserts, no stars for any other aspect of this establishment.

Terrible service and outrageous prices.

Good food, terrible customer service! Been here twice, both times service was not up to par. As a relatively new bakery to new britain if they dont fix this their business will fail.

My new favorite bakery in New Britain. Incredible prices, a piece of red velvet cake, piece of chocolate cake with ganache and icing & a big cookie for under $ 5. Sandwiches are delicious too & fairly priced, but their bread is by far the best in NB.
