My husband’s car died. We saw a good Unilocal review and talked to them and were told there was a $ 100 diagnostic fee. We had the insurance tow it there and it ended up being a bill of over $ 300 dollars for a new battery and oil change. Was disappointed that the diagnostic fee would apply to such an easy to check problem. They were nice to us but we felt the price of the work was high. I wish we had tried jumping the car and shopped around for batteries instead. Not really sure about returning for work here in the future.

The Automotive Connection comes highly recommended. If you search the area, you will find high praise for this shop. I went here on a recommendation from a friend, and I now recommend them to others. If you need a car repair, you probably won’t find a better shop. It’s even worth the trip if you don’t live near New Britain. They’ll put you in a car, give you a fair price, work quickly, do a professional job and make you feel like your repair is the most important one they’re working on. I highly recommend this shop, and I don’t often make recommendations.
