So I made an appointment with Dr. Urfan Dar. When I get there I fill out half a novel of repetitive new patient paperwork(I answered the same question 6 times in one packet). When I went to the counter the girl at the desk was more interested in looking at her friend’s cell phone pictures than actually being helpful. I then find out that I would be seeing the PA instead of the doctor I made the appointment for. I insisted on seeing the doctor. He is knowledgable but his bedside manner needs some work(he left the room without even saying bye). I received a call a week later asking about a follow up appointment(which was nice) but I had already found out that they were not in-network. I declined and said I would be seeing another doctor. The girl on the line sounded as if I had killed her puppy when we disconnected. I received a bill later and found they charged my insurance $ 600 for a 15 minute consultation… THAT my friends is ridiculous! Honestly I would have considered continuing treatment there if the front desk device was more pleasant and they didn’t rape my insurance company. Overall, there are other doctors in the city who have a better staff and better bedside manner.

I was sent to this COMPANY by my neurosurgeon, refereed in as per protocol. Was refereed to Dr. Darr got passed down to Dr. Sridhar Vasireddy, MD. I felt like I was visiting a used car salesman at his south side office, this location had a foul odor of dirty socks and filthy underwear. Next appointment I was transferred to another location. . without my knowledge. Didn’t find this out until the day before the appointment. I had to drive way across town against my surgeons orders, endangering my life. Only to find no handicap parking, struggling to walk uphill to reach 2LARGE glass doors which I couldn’t open. What pain specialist does not have automatic door openers the disabled? He could afford Ethan Allen décor at his north side location? The patients in the lobby could see me struggling to get in, finally a very old man had to get up and LETMEIN. As I exited out the cattle shoot through the back door(also glass and very very heavy), it hit me in the back on my way out. From the looks of the clientele in the lobby, I’d venture to say maybe 3 were actually chronic pain patients. I had an argument upon check in with his north side office assistant, because the south side office failed to properly enter my insurance data. She didn’t believe I had 100% coverage and wanted to argue about it. Took me 20 minutes to convince her to call the south side for that data. She became angry and tried her best to force me to give her CASH only in an attempt to extract a Co-Pay. I have called my neurosurgeon and suggested she not refer any more patients to this clinic. Quote«I would not send my dog there» The office staff couldn’t even quote the proper address when I HAD to call to find this second, which caused me to get lost going up there. I had to stop by THEMORGUE where that receptionist made three different calls for me, in repeated attempts to find the exact location. Bless her heart without her I never would have found out, I won’t be making that trip again. What pain doctor puts very very expensive heavy glass doors in a pain clinic that could smash and cripple any elderly person who enters, insanity abounds at this clinic with forethought of a common flea. These doctors are not practicing the Hypocratic Oath, and I saw no earnest concern for my welfare at all. It was a struggle, an argument, an inconvenience and did nothing but exacerbate my pain levels to the point of NORETURN. I did try to call these doctors before I wrote this review. Their office manager must be a very busy lady. She couldn’t be bothered to return my call. Where I intended to beg her to STOPSELLINGMYCONTACT information to medical sales companies. I have everyone from orthopedic surgeons calling to heating pad sales. THIS is was what prompted such a scathing review. The sales calls continue from 8AM to 8PM. And NO this dr did nothing for my pain, issued no medications. All these people did was cause me MOREPAIN and aggravation. This is the LAST thing a disabled person needs.
